• Spearhead technical projects for existing and new features across the Swift compiler, toolchain, SDK and frameworks for Windows. • Port existing frameworks to Windows and fix Windows-specific bugs and tests. • Monitor builds, investigating and fixing causes of failures in our Swift CI system. • Maintain and improve support for platforms under development and ones that are currently unsupported (Windows ARM64, Android, etc). • Build a macOS toolchain via GHA that we can use as an alternative toolchain in Xcode. • Give back to the open source community.

• Investigate and address performance bottlenecks, focusing on areas like memory allocation, PGO/LTO/BOLT, and hot function optimizations. • Maintain and expand support for multiple operating systems, including Windows and Android. • Build and maintain custom toolchains on macOS and Windows, ensuring seamless integration with tools like Xcode and VSCode. • Drive innovations in Swift and C/C++, Java/Kotlin interoperability. • Nearly all of your work lands upstream in LLVM, Swift, and related projects.

• Keep Dia unblocked. • Own the operational cadence for the Toolchain team. • Be the connective tissue between Toolchain and the Dia on Windows team. • Own the Apple relationship. • Grow the platform to strengthen Dia's foundation.

• Define positioning and messaging: Establish Dia’s product narrative, value propositions, and messaging hierarchy across surfaces. • Own go-to-market strategy for product and feature launches. • Develop use case storytelling and social proof. • Set the strategic direction for how Dia shows up across website, email, and social. • Own lifecycle and re-engagement strategy across the full user journey. • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Insights to plan launches, validate narratives, and resolve adoption friction. • Keep a live line to customers through community, feedback loops, and direct engagement.

• Design, implement, and maintain automated systems for employee onboarding, access management, and offboarding that scale globally • Build and maintain RBAC and birthright access policies • Deploy and manage secure device management solutions for our globally distributed team • Utilize infrastructure-as-code to standardize configuration management • Automate routine IT workflows and manage the IT ticketing process • Partner with Security to establish and monitor compliance controls across endpoints • Evaluate and recommend new IT tools and SaaS platforms that improve security, scalability, and employee experience • Create clear documentation and educational resources

• Build for Windows: Lead the UI development of Dia for Windows, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with the platform’s unique features and conventions. • Shape the Product: Contribute as an early team member to decisions about architecture, user experience, and technical trade-offs. • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Design, Infrastructure, and Data Teams to create a browser experience that feels native to Windows. • Solve Complex Problems: Tackle challenges like performance optimization, memory management, and compatibility to deliver a fast, reliable, and secure Swift on Windows browser. • Get onboarded onto the team and codebase with an onboarding buddy. • Have shipped a few bug fixes and features across our codebase. • Have owned building numerous core features of Dia on Windows. • Be the primary point of contact for bugs and product iterations within core parts of our Windows application.

• Design and ship AI security features in the Dia product and our Prompt Safety service. • Drive Dia’s security architecture and threat modeling across client and backend surfaces with an AI-first threat lens. • Develop AI-aware defenses that make our systems intrinsically secure, with guardrails against prompt injection/jailbreaks, output filtering/policy enforcement, red teaming/adversarial testing, and incident playbooks. • Establish metrics and dashboards tracking the effectiveness of our security infrastructure and AI defense to guide priority and measure impact. • Architect and deliver AI security features for Dia, including building out the future of LLM protections, AI fuzzing integration, managed accounts, and advanced authentication/authorization controls. • Architect and implement LLM assisted fuzzing for Dia’s Assistant and the Prompt Safety Service. • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed secure-by-default patterns and frameworks throughout Dia’s codebase. • Drive the creation and evolution of security metrics and dashboards to measure and communicate impact across the organization. • Join our team’s on-call rotation, helping the team keep our services reliable and responding to production and security incidents.

• Design and lead the “build how we build” platform: an internal SaaS‑like experience where engineers and non‑engineers can describe what they want, and our system realizes the rest. • Partner with AI and infra teams to wire together the pieces we already have—AI coding tools, virtualized environments, CI, AI code reviewers, evals, and prompt and model optimization—into a cohesive, opinionated product that our teams love to use. • Define success metrics for this platform and iterate quickly based on real usage and feedback from our engineers. • Turn our DevEx stack into true leverage, so that every engineer and PM can move with 10x more impact.

• Work cross-functionally across teams and surfaces to ‘run’ the day-to-day operations of the business. • Design and launch new operational functions from the ground up, from initial pilots to metrics-driven systems that advance our strategic goals. • Build frameworks and systems to drive better decision-making, resource allocation, and strategic planning. • Redesign workflows and tooling for our Support and Member Love teams, with AI at the center. With the AI tools at our disposal, what does best-in-class Support look like in 2026? • Define the metrics that matter, build reporting systems around them, and use what surfaces to drive decisions. • Begin laying the groundwork for how these functions evolve as we serve more business customers — different expectations, different workflows, different scale. • Help shape the operational foundations of our go-to-market motion as the company grows into new customer segments. • Design and launch new operational functions as company needs emerge — scoping, piloting, and scaling them against clear goals. • Build frameworks for resource allocation, strategic planning, and decision-making across the business. • Continuously experiment with new AI tools and models to challenge assumptions about how work gets done.
