Role Description Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing & Communications Lead at aiEDU will play a pivotal role in executing the organization's marketing and communications strategies, workstreams, and content development efforts. Core responsibilities include: - Developing marketing materials - Overseeing content development projects - Project managing complex workstreams - Collaborating with aiEDU's funders and partners to align marketing, communications, and content strategies - Assessing the effectiveness of marketing and communications strategies using detailed activity reports This role is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and creative marketer who can shape and amplify aiEDU's narrative and impact. Qualifications - At least 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or content development - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience executing multi-channel communications campaigns with demonstrated proof of outcomes - Comfort managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously - Strategic, collaborative and creative thinker who can adapt and prioritize moment to moment - Working knowledge about artificial intelligence and its intersection with policy, ethical, workforce, and education landscapes - Proficient in the use of communications & marketing tools, such as Mailchimp, Airtable, Video Editing, MuckRack, etc. Requirements - Location: Fully remote. Role Description The Research & Evaluation Senior Lead role is responsible for leading the research and impact measurement at aiEDU. This person will be responsible for developing our programs and learning research strategy, developing research approaches to measure our impact and managing our impact data and organizational dashboards. We have ambitious goals on quality and reach of our programs and this role will be an essential part of how we measure our overall impact. As a member of the Programs team, the Research & Evaluation Lead is a critical leader in our impact strategy and supporting our teams in setting data-backed priorities. This role will report to the Chief Program Officer. Role Details - Location: Remote - Compensation: The baseline compensation for this role is $125,000-$135,000 - Start date: We’d like a candidate to start as soon as possible after receiving an offer, though there is some flexibility. Your Responsibilities - Research and Evaluation Strategy and Innovation: - Develop research agenda aligned with a logic model for our organization’s impact - Identify, establish and lead internal research projects alongside our learning and programs team - Identify, design and manage limited external research studies including focus areas, evaluating partners and ongoing data collection and analysis - Develop innovative ways to collect data and describe our impact including survey and observational tools, deep case studies and new metrics - Impact Data Management & Analysis: - Establish key impact metrics, build systems to gather and analyze data for these metrics - Lead team through analysis and extraction of insights from large, multi-dimensional data sets generating useful conclusions and actionable recommendations for department leaders and management team - Ensure all reporting needs for metrics for grants are met and delivered on time for grant deliverables - Be a champion of data integrity across the organization to ensure objective reporting - Develop and manage databases and connect data sources to each other, implementing new tools and solutions, especially AI driven, that allow us to store and analyze new data sources and join to our existing data sources in new ways - Design and develop innovative reporting that enables department leaders and other teammates to analyze and extract insights from large data sets; manage uptime of all recurring reporting and scripts Qualifications - 8+ years' experience in data analysis leadership or program evaluation roles in education or technology companies - Strong experience with survey design and research/evaluation design - Experience setting up and managing data management software (Airtable experience is a plus!) - Experience using AI tools to accelerate impact analysis and data management - Technical fluency with AI vibecoding - Experience using educational data and the regulations around data privacy in schools - Communicates effectively across departments and levels - Attention to detail and focus on data accuracy and integrity - Strong prioritization skills; eager to work on many different tasks and projects at once - Pro-active problem solver, especially in developing efficient and unique ways to establish and communicate impact using technology Equal Employment Opportunity The AI Education Project is an equal opportunity employer.
