Role Description We are looking to recruit a permanent Local Manager for the Independent Visitor service to join our Southampton Team, working 30 hours per week with a starting salary of £27,993 per annum, pro rata. - Day to day responsibility for the Independent Visitor Service and the Independent Visitor volunteers across the team. - Recruiting and training Independent Visitor volunteers to feel confident in their roles. - Matching young people with the right volunteer for them. - Supporting volunteers and promoting the Independent Volunteer service. - Ensuring that the people the volunteers work with are safeguarded at all times. Qualifications - Creative, flexible, and organized. - Able to communicate clearly and positively with people at all levels. - Ability to manage important administrative tasks. Requirements - Home-based with frequent travel across Southampton and surrounding areas. - Ideally based in or around the Southampton area. - Access to a stable home broadband service and good mobile signal. - Full driving licence and own transport. - Flexibility with working hours.
