Role Description We are looking for a hands-on Lead Developer to own all integration work for a major Vendavo pricing platform rollout. You will be the primary integration engineer—designing, coding, deploying, and operating all SAP CPI iFlows across a complex landscape that includes legacy systems (Universe), a PIM (Pimberly), a Data Lake/BigQuery, a CRM (Freshsales), and the Vendavo SaaS platform. Beyond development, you will set technical standards, review team work, and act as the integration authority during workshops with partners and stakeholders. Qualifications - 10+ years of hands-on SAP CPI/Integration Suite development (complex iFlows, not just configuration). - Strong REST API skills (HTTP adapter, OAuth 2.0, JSON/XML, pagination). - Proficient in Groovy scripting for transformations and custom logic. - Experience building delta-extraction integrations with cloud data platforms (Data Lake, BigQuery, or similar). - Practical experience with file-based integrations (SFTP, CSV/XML parsing, archiving). - Familiarity with CRM platforms (Freshsales, Salesforce) as integration targets. - Working knowledge of CPI Secure Store, credential management, and Agile delivery (Jira/Confluence). - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. - SAP Integration Suite certification is a plus. Requirements - Architect, code, test, and deploy all SAP CPI integrations (batch, event-driven, API, and file-based) for the four Vendavo modules. - Build delta-extraction flows from Data Lake/BigQuery, synchronise master data with Universe and Pimberly, and manage CPQ/RCM quote and contract flows. - Define CPI development standards, lead code reviews, estimate effort, and serve as the integration SME in cross-functional workshops. - Monitor flow health, resolve P1/P2 incidents, perform root cause analysis, and track integration KPIs (throughput, error rates, SLA). - Work closely with the Vendavo implementation partner, data engineering, GCP, and business teams to ensure seamless integration. Duties & Responsibilities - Configuration & Requirements - Gather and analyze manufacturing requirements specific to retail-owned production (e.g., seasonal goods, private label, packaging, kitting, or store-ready merchandise). - Configure Oracle Fusion Manufacturing modules including: - BOM (Bill of Materials) – structure creation, revisions, alternate BOMs - WIP (Work in Process) – discrete jobs, repetitive assemblies, job costing, completions - Work Definition / Work Execution – routing, operations, resources, work order execution - Ensure configurations support retail demand volatility, short lead times, and multi-location production (centralized or store-level). - Integrations (Critical) - Design and support integrations between Manufacturing and: - Inventory – component issuance, finished goods receipt, cycle counts - Costing – actual vs. standard cost, work order variance analysis - Procurement – backflushing, purchase order integration for raw materials - Collaborate with technical teams on REST/SOAP, FBDI, and BIP integrations. - Testing & Go-Live - Lead SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) – create manufacturing-specific test scenarios (e.g., BOM explosions, job completions, WIP variances). - Manage go-live activities including cutover, data migration validation, and manufacturing period closure readiness. - Post-Production Support - Provide hypercare and post-production support – troubleshoot BOM errors, work order failures, costing discrepancies, and integration issues. - Train retail manufacturing super-users on daily Fusion Manufacturing processes. - Monitor and resolve production support tickets with retail SLA urgency (e.g., end-of-month costing, peak production cycles). - Data & Security - Support data loads (FBDI, HDL) for BOMs, work definitions, and open jobs during implementation and ongoing maintenance. - Define security roles for manufacturing floor supervisors, planners, cost accountants, and procurement teams. - Stakeholder Management (Critical) - Partner with retail production planners, sourcing managers, inventory control leads, and cost accountants – translate operational manufacturing needs into Fusion configurations. - Lead daily standups, defect triage, and status reporting. Qualifications - 5+ years of Oracle Fusion Manufacturing functional configuration experience – specifically BOM, WIP, Work Definition/Execution. - Retail industry experience is mandatory – must have supported manufacturing in a retail context (e.g., private label goods, in-house kitting, store brand assembly, seasonal merchandise production). - Proven experience integrating Manufacturing with Inventory, Costing, and Procurement in Fusion. - Full lifecycle experience: requirements → configuration → SIT/UAT → go-live → post-production support. - Hands-on experience with data loads (FBDI/HDL) and security role configuration. - Strong stakeholder management skills – able to guide retail operational teams through manufacturing system decisions. Preferred / Nice-to-Have - Experience with retail-specific manufacturing challenges (e.g., high-volume low-variety vs. low-volume high-variety production). - Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Costing (standard/actual costing, WIP variance analysis). - Prior contract/consulting experience supporting retail clients post-go-live. Soft Skills & Work Environment - Self-sufficient in a fully remote setting. - Excellent written/verbal communication – daily standups, ticket updates, solution documentation. - Problem-solving mindset for retail manufacturing edge cases (e.g., split completions, co-products, backflushing exceptions). - Availability for occasional off-hours support during go-live or period-end close.
