SYSCOM is seeking an experienced Senior Database Developer to join a large-scale modernization initiative supporting a major public sector organization. You'll work with complex enterprise databases, data integration, ETL pipelines, and reporting solutions in a fully remote environment. This one-year consulting opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with a highly skilled technical team. Extensions may be possible based on project needs. As a Senior Database Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise database solutions while supporting complex data integration, migration, reporting, and performance optimization initiatives for our client. The Database Developer will: - Develop stored procedures, views, SQL scripts, and other database components supporting transactional and reporting systems. - Execute large-scale data migrations, including cleansing, validation, and transformation across enterprise systems. - Build data ingestion and transformation workflows across raw, staging, curated, and analytics layers. - Maintain various reporting solutions using SSRS and Power BI. - Design and implement logical and physical data models (ERDs) for various applications. - Provide production support, including troubleshooting performance issues and on-call support. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies, development activities, code reviews, and release cycles.
