Title: Technical Writer/Editor Location: United States Job Description: Summit Technologies, Inc. has a Technical Writer/Editor opportunity for an up-to-3-year federal proposal. This effort is to generate electronic educational courses and training, including facilitator materials and assessments, to be loaded into an existing portal using the Blackboard Learning Management System and potentially other learning platforms. This position is fully remote with minimal travel. Responsibilities - Provide scriptwriting/multimedia support services encompassing research, story line development and character development for video projects. - Collaborate with instructional systems designers to incorporate instructional principles, theories, concepts, and best practices into plans for training materials and products. - Write, format, update, review, and edit materials for training courses and website postings that include, but are not limited to, technical narratives, student training aids, training manuals, instruction guides, lesson plans, policies and procedures, webinars, and computer-based training applications. - Write and edit instructional materials, technical reports and/or technical documentation using MS Office applications. - Coordinate contents of final drafts with originators for the final narrative to ensure content and material is suitable in terms of coverage, balance and methods of expression and presentation and provide timely feedback. - Maintain records of manuscript status, approvals, changes, and corrections during the production process. - Maintain all program scripts. - Perform a variety of writing tasks ensuring cohesiveness, clarity, flow, appropriate reading level, and compliance with Army and grammatical writing guidelines. - Perform writing tasks that include but are not limited to narration, scripts, storyboards, and documents previously identified. - Provide final documents for use in courseware development or film production. - Facilitate the review and acceptance of all documents for technical, legal, security, and public affairs approval as required. Preferred Knowledge and Experience - Experience with writing and editing technical and project documentation - Provide technical writing and editing support and maintain Section 508 compliance.

Role Description We are seeking a mid level Proposal Coordinator to develop and submit compliant, high-quality proposals in response to Federal Government solicitations. The ideal candidate will work with a proposal team to develop and coordinate the full proposal lifecycle—from RFP release through submission—ensuring alignment with customer requirements, corporate strategy, and win themes. - Lead and coordinate proposal efforts for Federal Government opportunities (FAR-based solicitations) - Analyze RFPs/RFQs/RFIs and develop compliance matrices and proposal outlines - Build and manage proposal schedules, assignments, and milestones - Coordinate cross-functional teams including Capture, Pricing, HR, Contracts, and Technical SMEs - Ensure compliance with solicitation instructions (Section L & M) - Manage color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold) and incorporate feedback - Oversee production and final submission (SAM.gov, agency portals, etc.) - Maintain proposal templates, content libraries, and lessons learned - Ability to work with multiple BD teams to include capture and program managers Qualifications - 3+ years of experience managing Federal Government proposals - Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal procurement processes - Demonstrated experience leading multi-volume proposals and organizational teams - Exceptional writing, editing, and Microsoft Suite - Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Requirements - APMP certification (Foundation) - Experience with DoD, DHS, or civilian agencies - Experience with Shipley proposal processes - Experience supporting IDIQ, GWAC, and task order proposals Company Description Summit is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
