The Role The People Operations Coordinator keeps the engine running. You’ll own the day-to-day administrative and operational workflows across the employee experience. You are the first line of response for people-related needs, ensuring nothing slips, everything is tracked, and the experience for candidates and employees feels polished and fast. This role is for someone who: - Notices when something is off before anyone says it - Keeps inboxes, calendars, and systems tight - Moves quickly without dropping details - Actually enjoys making processes better What You’ll Do Hiring & Recruiting Operations - Coordinate interview scheduling across candidates and internal teams - Manage candidate communications with speed and professionalism - Maintain ATS accuracy and ensure clean, organized data - Support the recruiting process from kickoff through offer stage Onboarding & Employee Experience - Own onboarding logistics from offer acceptance through first week - Coordinate new hire setup across systems, teams, and stakeholders - Ensure every new employee has a seamless, high-quality first experience - Support ongoing employee lifecycle touchpoints (reviews, transitions, etc.) HR Support & Internal Inbox Monitoring - Manage the HR inbox with fast, thoughtful responses - Triage and route requests appropriately (and know when to escalate) - Act as a reliable, go-to resource for employee questions - Be the main liaison for the selected PEO - Be the first to think through potential company risk and/or compliance issues People Operations & Admin - Maintain employee records, systems, and documentation - Own calendar coordination for People initiatives (trainings, reviews, etc.) - Support vendor coordination and administrative workflows - Keep everything organized, documented, and easy to navigate Process Improvement & Efficiency - Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and ways to streamline workflows - Help build systems that scale as the company grows - Leverage tools, automation, and AI to work smarter and faster Who You Are - Highly organized to the point where people comment on it - Fast and accurate - A strong communicator who doesn’t leave people hanging - Resourceful and proactive - Comfortable juggling multiple priorities without spiraling - Naturally detail-oriented (you catch what others miss) - Genuinely interested in People Ops / HR as a career path - Have experience in a fast-paced agency or startup environment, preferred - Love optimizing workflows and building systems, preferred - Are lowkey obsessed with inbox zero and clean spreadsheets, preferred What Success Looks Like - Hiring and onboarding processes run smoothly without constant oversight - The HR inbox is up-kept, organized, and quick to respond - Employees feel supported, informed, and taken care of - Processes get better over time (not just maintained) - The People team has more time to focus on strategy because you own the execution MCO Create and maintain organized & reliable People Operations systems.
