You will work closely with the production team to maintain efficiency and quality throughout the packaging process. Responsibilities: Assist in production line setup and preparation. Construct correct product boxes and/or utilize stock packaging materials as needed. Stock work area with necessary products and materials for packaging. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP and CGMP standards. Package products into appropriate containers, ensuring accuracy and quality. Inspect filled or packaged products for conformity to specifications. Stack finished packaged items, cartons, or containers onto pallets/skids. Affix identification labels to finished packaged items. Utilize power-assisted pallet jack to transport finished products to staging area. Count and record finished or rejected items accurately into computer systems. Seal and palletize boxes securely for shipment. QualificationsRequirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Authorized to work in the United States; participation in E-Verify required. Ability to work (4) 12-hour shifts one week, (3) 12-hour shifts the next week night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) as required. Ability to lift and move a minimum of 35 pounds without assistance. Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English to execute safety protocols, instructions, and training materials. Basic numeracy skills to read and write numbers, letters, and comprehend packaging instructions. Manual dexterity to perform tasks efficiently and accurately. The Maintenance Mechanic performs emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic and identifies and replaces worn or damaged parts in a timely manner. Machines include Baggers, Ovens and conveyers. This position oversees a team of maintenance technicians and is responsible for developing and implementing a maintenance program designed to optimize equipment performance, minimize downtime, and ensure workplace safety. The Maintenance Planner collaborates closely with production to schedule preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement improvements to enhance overall efficiency. Collaborates with a team of Maintenance Technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Develops and implements preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Utilizes Maintenance Management Software (Upkeep) to schedule and prioritizes maintenance activities based on production schedules, equipment needs, and facility requirements. Collaborates with production and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize production downtime. Continuously takes independent action, delegates tasks, and provides corrective recommendations to the management team. Develops Maintenance Technicians’ ability to understand, manage, and affect the department in a positive professional way by ensuring that all technicians have been trained in the areas of: Lock Out / Tag Out Food Defense, Allergens, SQF, GMP’s, HAACP, CCP procedures Quality, Cleanliness, OSHA regulated programs Machine Operation Reading and understanding production specifications Understanding and recording of data on process documents· Adheres to all food safety and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), and company policies and guidelines. Qualifications Program management, Management, OSHA knowledge Food processing and packaging experience 3 years of food industry experience preferred, GMP knowledge and certifications a plus CMMS experience – usage, start-ups, planning experience Team development – proven track record Strong communication skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 - 7 years of prior experience working with maintenance (CMMS) and program management for a consumer product manufacturer; experience in food manufacturing preferred Knowledge in OSHA regulations
