Role Description We are currently looking for passionate and experienced German Language Trainers to teach German from A1 to C1 level based on the CEFR framework. - Deliver engaging German language classes (A1–C1) - Teach according to CEFR standards - Prepare students for real-life communication and language exams - Adapt lessons to different learning styles and cultural backgrounds - Track student progress and provide constructive feedback - Conduct classes online and/or on-site in Berlin - Create a positive and motivating learning environment Qualifications - Experience teaching German as a foreign language (DaF/DaZ) - Strong understanding of CEFR-based teaching methodologies - Ability to teach across multiple levels from A1 to C1 - Excellent communication and classroom management skills - Comfortable using online teaching tools and digital platforms - Native or near-native German proficiency Requirements - TELC examiner certification or TELC preparation experience (Nice to Have) - BAMF approval (Nice to Have) - Experience teaching healthcare or professional German (Nice to Have) - Experience with online/hybrid learning formats (Nice to Have) Benefits - Flexible working arrangements - International and diverse student community - Opportunity to contribute to impactful education programs - Collaborative and mission-driven environment - Long-term collaboration opportunities Company Description Startupistan Impact Ventures gUG is a Berlin-based nonprofit building pathways to digital skills, entrepreneurship, and dignified employment for underrepresented communities. - We design and implement programs across Germany and international markets, including partnerships with global institutions, foundations, and corporate actors. - Our focus areas include digital workforce development, AI & tech education, entrepreneurship incubation, and inclusive economic participation. - We work at the intersection of innovation, social impact, and execution.
