Participants gain hands-on experience in data management and research across both traditional broadcast and digital media platforms. We are seeking motivated interns to participate in structured learning exercises that mirror our media data workflows, offering supervised, educational experience in broadcast sponsorship and data management. The research and analysis components are conducted primarily for learning purposes and guided practice, under SponsorUnited supervision. To prepare you for this work, you’ll complete a structured and personalized training program designed to build key data management and analytical skills relevant to the sponsorship industry. Time Needed: 10-15 hours per week for 6 months Please note this is an unpaid position with the opportunity for academic credit and is entirely remote. This internship allows students to earn academic credit through their university while gaining practical experience in sponsorship data and marketing. Responsibilities Complete an online training program on sponsorship data management within the sports and entertainment industry, emphasizing broadcast and digital media Participate in supervised learning exercises analyzing sponsorship and advertising content featured in local and national television and radio broadcasts. Conduct research-based training activities exploring sponsorship activity and brand integrations across digital and social media platforms. About the Role SponsorUnited is seeking a driven, strategic Growth Account Manager to oversee a high-value book of business ($3M–$3.5M ARR) and accelerate revenue expansion across a portfolio of brand, agency, media, and rights holder clients. This individual will own renewals, drive upsells, identify commercial opportunities, and help bring new products and features to market by partnering closely with clients. This role is ideal for a sales-minded relationship builder who can balance revenue accountability with strong collaborative partnership—both with clients and internal teams, including Customer Success Managers (CSMs). Familiarity with the sports & entertainment ecosystem and existing industry relationships are highly valued. Key Responsibilities Revenue Ownership & Growth Manage a portfolio representing $3M–$3.5M in annual recurring revenue (ARR) . Own the full renewal cycle , ensuring timely, accurate forecasting and high retention. Drive upsells, cross-sells, and expansion revenue , including additional licenses, modules, and premium offerings. Identify and cultivate new growth opportunities within accounts by understanding client needs, whitespace, and organizational structures. Partner with product and leadership to commercialize and monetize new features and products as they are released. Client & Stakeholder Management Act as a strategic partner and primary commercial point of contact for strategic clients. Support and collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure strong relationships, adoption, and value delivery across accounts. Develop multi-threaded relationships across key client stakeholders—brand, agency, rights holder, and media partners. Communicate SponsorUnited’s value proposition and competitive advantages to drive long-term account growth. Cross-Functional Collaboration Provide client insights to Product, Marketing, and Leadership to inform roadmap decisions and go-to-market strategy. Work with internal teams to ensure successful rollout and adoption of new features, tools, and services. Participate in strategic planning for account segmentation, revenue forecasting, and growth strategy. Pipeline, Reporting & Forecasting Maintain accurate opportunity and renewal data within CRM tools. Deliver reliable revenue forecasts, proactively surfacing risks and opportunities. Use data to spot patterns in client usage, expansion potential, and churn risk. Qualifications
