Role Description The primary role of the Insights Director is to manage and provide disease area expertise in the end-to-end insights generation process, using our proprietary market research data and to drive client interactions and business development in the therapy area. This position reports to the Franchise Head and is located in Exton, PA. Applicants who do not live locally can be considered for a remote position. Key Responsibilities - Lead client presentations, track follow-up requests and lead ad-hoc deliverables, follow-up observational metric requests. - Upsell existing clients on appropriate products. - Develop business with new clients and drive company growth through organic business development. - Proofread final deliverables to ensure they are client ready. - Writing all report types including key findings and executive summaries. - Design survey in a new indication. - Assist with marketing content and grow to lead marketing efforts. - Manage and mentor a team of market research analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Improve internal research processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Develop and implement comprehensive market research strategies aligned with business objectives. - Stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and prescriber behaviors to inform research priorities and methodologies. Key Deliverables - Analysis of open-ended survey responses or qualitative data collected during research studies. - Compilation of secondary data sources, literature reviews, and industry reports to supplement primary research findings. - Assisting in the development of strategic marketing campaigns. - Final writing of client offerings. - Ongoing and deepening therapeutic expertise with in-depth understanding of competitive therapeutic landscape. - Development of content to be included in the ongoing publications. - Timely delivery of questionnaires, templates, and high quality/insightful reports. - Customized client offerings including market insights, strategic sessions, and advisory services. - Ad-Hoc deliverables based on client questions/requests. - Active input into the strategy for the franchise, including targeted clients/compounds, management of the advisory boards, working with patient advocacy groups and presentations at key medical conferences. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. - Proven track record of 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/health industry related market research, with at least 5 years in a management role preferred. - Required experience in a client-facing role, including being a lead in client management, presentation, and servicing. - Ability to establish credibility in front of clients. - Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including survey design, data analysis, and statistical techniques. - Deep understanding of pharmaceutical business practices and the issues clients face in specific segments of responsibility. - Extremely strong attention to detail. - Proven track record of writing skills, highlighting the capacity to explain complex therapeutic and commercial points. - Consistent track record of delivering against objectives. - Proven track record in project and people management. - Excellent presentation skills. - Good working knowledge of therapy area preferred. - Strong working knowledge of primary market research methods with experience on either the client or vendor side (ideally both, and ideally in a healthcare environment). Role Description The primary role of the VP, Operations is to drive predictable, on-time, high-quality execution across Spherix’s end-to-end market research and production operations. This role manages operational workflows, governance, and capacity planning to ensure efficient delivery of insights, support scalable growth, and enable effective cross-functional collaboration. The VP, Operations partners closely with franchise teams, delivery teams, and corporate functions to establish consistent standards, enforce best practices, and provide leadership with clear operational visibility across the research portfolio. This role reports to the CEO and is based in Exton, PA. Key Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end orchestration of market research execution across programming, fielding, panel operations, data processing, reporting, and publication, ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery at scale. - Design and continuously refine workflows that reduce handoff friction, rework, and manual coordination across teams. - Partner with insights and franchise teams to translate delivery needs into executable timelines and resource plans. - Establish clear ownership, decision rights, and handoff expectations across Spherix, ensuring projects launch with aligned scope, timelines, and success criteria. - Surface delivery risks early and drive resolution through data, prioritization, and decisive escalation, facilitating focused operational forums centered to achieve operational objectives. - Own and manage the integrated publication roadmap across franchises, indications, and products, ensuring commitments are consistently met. - Coordinate execution inputs across analytics, insights, operations and leadership to balance speed, quality, and capacity in delivery. DevOps, Delivery Technology & Automation - Manage, maintain and evolve all operations’ platform technology including but not limited to Asana, Survey App, Power BI Internal LLMs. - Investigate, define and deploy new emerging technologies with a focus on AI to provide continuous improvement to operational processes. - Maintain living, system-driven project plans that provide real-time visibility into timelines, dependencies, risks, and capacity. - Design and maintain leadership-ready dashboards and integrated platforms (e.g., Power BI) that surface portfolio health, delivery performance, risks, and capacity in real time. - Identify and implement opportunities to automate repetitive workflows, reporting, and handoffs, and support integrations across internal and external systems including Asana, Power BI, HubSpot, SharePoint, and data platforms. - Establish and evolve a modern production operations center of excellence focused on execution quality, efficiency, and scalability. Team Leadership & Capacity Strategy - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, programmers, DevOps, program managers and panel team members, setting clear expectations, supporting professional growth, and holding the team accountable for outcomes. - Translate product and portfolio demand into forward-looking capacity and staffing plans across franchises and products, partnering with functional leaders to proactively rebalance workloads. - Build reusable execution playbooks, standards, templates, and operating rhythms that scale as volume and complexity increase. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. - 10+ years of experience in operations, PMO, research operations, or workflow management, preferably within market research or consulting. - Deep expertise with technology tools including but not limited to Asana, AI, LLMs, proprietary survey applications, BI technology delivery and operations tools. - Strong experience managing complex, cross matrix multi-workstream research projects. - Proven experience managing operations teams. - Experience creating executive-level dashboards (KPIs, capacity, cycle times, portfolio summaries). - Strong background in governance, process standardization, and operational execution. - Very strong technology background. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
