• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable web and mobile applications • Develop and implement low-latency, highly performant server-side components • Work closely with frontend developers and UX/UI designers • Maintain high personal code standards through peer reviews, unit testing • Implement effective security protocols and data protection measures • Proactively identify and resolve defects • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to plan and execute sprints • Navigate ambiguous, fast-moving technical challenges

• Translate engineering concepts, product capabilities, and technical specifications into clear, accurate content • Work closely with the Director of Product and internal engineering resources • Provide dedicated technical writing support across concurrent RFP submissions • Build a library of reusable technical content • Ensure all technical content meets submission requirements • Identify opportunities to improve technical input process

• Provide senior-level financial guidance to Speer’s leadership team, including recommendations related to growth planning, profitability, pricing, investment decisions, resource planning, and long-term financial sustainability. • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to help Speer anticipate financial needs, manage resources effectively, and support informed business decisions. • Prepare and review financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators that provide clear visibility into company performance, project profitability, margins, revenue, expenses, and cash position. • Oversee and improve finance-related processes, including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, project financial tracking, expense management, payroll coordination, and internal reporting workflows. • Support pricing strategy, margin analysis, project budgeting, and profitability reviews for client engagements, proposals, retainers, and long-term partnerships. • Help ensure appropriate financial controls, compliance practices, tax coordination, insurance review, and risk management processes are in place as the company grows. • Act as a trusted financial advisor to the executive team, supporting strategic planning, board or investor-related reporting as needed, and major business decisions. • Support the continued development of Speer’s finance function by improving systems, reporting structures, internal controls, and operational processes as the company scales.

• Research and identify grant, RFP, and funding opportunities aligned with Speer's focus areas and strategic goals • Lead the full RFP response process, including coordinating timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder input across teams • Write, edit, and format compelling proposals, applications, and supporting documents • Tailor each submission to highlight Speer's strengths, differentiators, and unique capabilities • Ensure all submissions meet technical, content, and formatting requirements while maintaining a high standard of quality across concurrent proposals • Maintain a repository of commonly used documents, templates, and case studies for reuse across proposals • Stay updated on industry trends, funding programs, and best practices in grant writing and procurement • Create internal timelines and checklists to meet critical deadlines • Organize meetings, gather required information, and ensure clarity on submission requirements • Track and report on the status of submissions and outcomes to inform future strategy

• Collaborate with external partners to clarify requirements and generate tiered scopes for upcoming projects. • Advise external partners and product designers on the preferred flows for new features informed by a strong understanding of the product's current software capabilities. • Break down long and complex projects into tiered approaches with clear deliverables and accurate timelines. • Coordinate with developer teams to ensure requirements are clear and blockers are resolved to streamline development cycles. • Set up agile sprints with achievable goals that meet Speer's quick turnaround times for feature deployment. • Lead agile/scrum meetings and coordinate with the product team to ensure resources are allocated as needed to meet project timelines. • Conduct UI/UX and functionality quality assurance passes on all stages of the software development lifecycle including: ideation and wireframing, finalized designs, development milestones, final product. • Hold weekly meetings with partners where new requirements are scoped and completed/in-progress features are shared. • Hold feature demos in a clear, creative, and engaging manner to showcase new features to partners. • Break down new feature requirements into clear tickets with specific requirements and all necessary details to facilitate developer handoff of tasks. • Provide a sense of direction for the entire product delivery team and other product stakeholders.

• Lead the development of cross-platform mobile applications • Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native • Design reusable components and scalable mobile architecture • Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs and third-party services • Collaborate with designers, product teams, and hardware engineers • Optimize performance across iOS and Android platforms • Support integration with hardware peripherals such as Bluetooth devices and other connected technologies • Improve build processes and mobile CI/CD pipelines • Conduct code reviews and support junior developers • Ensure high-quality code through testing and best practices

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable cross-platform mobile applications using Swift, Kotlin, or React Native. • Architect mobile application frameworks and shared component libraries across iOS, Android, and React Native environments. • Oversee end-to-end delivery — from mobile UX/UI integration to backend API development. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mobile app strategies, technical requirements, and performance goals. • Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor team members to improve technical excellence. • Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs to support dynamic mobile features. • Optimize app performance, monitor crash analytics, and ensure top-tier reliability. • Drive improvements to CI/CD workflows and release management for mobile apps (App Store / Play Store).
