Role Description You'd be joining as a core team member, working closely with our lead engineer. That means full ownership of features from backend to frontend, keeping things running when he's not around, and being someone the team can rely on in production. - Build and maintain features across backend and frontend - Handle deployments, server updates, and day-to-day infrastructure - Integrate and maintain third-party services: payments (Stripe, Mollie), AI, OCR, and video APIs - Keep an eye on system health, triage bugs, and jump in when production needs attention - Take part in architecture discussions as we scale Qualifications - 6+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years each in Django and Next.js/TypeScript - You've shipped a Stripe Connect marketplace end-to-end before - Comfortable on Linux servers: SSH, Docker, Postgres backups, log triage - Solid Git fundamentals: rebase, cherry-pick, conflict resolution - You've worked solo or in a very small team and know when to ship, when to roll back, and when to ask - Good migration habits and no fear of schema drift - Disciplined about multilingual UIs: every string goes through the translation layer, no hardcoded text - Fluent in English Requirements - Flutter / iOS deployment experience (nice to have) - DNS and email deliverability (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) (nice to have) - German, French, or Italian (nice to have) - Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering (nice to have) Benefits - Fully Remote - Significant Ownership: Engage in a pivotal role within the Marketplace product core team, where your strategic opinions directly influence and shape the future of our product - Contemporary Technology Stack: Contribute to the development of greenfield features, free from the challenges of legacy systems, enabling you to work with the latest technologies Probably not a fit if - You specialise in only one area (backend, frontend, or ops) - You need a full PM, design, and DevOps setup around you to be productive - The idea of occasionally handling a production issue outside working hours is a dealbreaker Company Description Connecting brands with markets through smart AI-powered solutions.
