Based in our Los Angeles office, the ideal candidate will have a background in Music and knowledge of the US Television Production Market. You will be part of the Audio Network family, but specifically part of our close-knit Sales & Creative teams. The role is hybrid, in office Tuesday - Thursday, remote work Monday and Friday. You'll spend your time pitching to West Coast TV and Film clients, analyzing user data to inform your decisions and recommendations, creating playlists, and taking part in industry events. THE ROLE Your day-to-day will consist of putting together music briefs and presenting/pitching our music to clients, as well as analyzing user data to drive business with existing clients. You will spend time researching the market and finding new clients to target and will proactively reach out and engage prospective (selected) clients. The role also includes administrative duties involved in account managing clients and dealing with music licenses. As Manager, Creative Licensing - Film/TV, you'll participate and contribute in weekly and monthly team meetings, providing insight and guidance into how working hours are spent. You'll bring with you a deep understanding of Film, Broadcasters and TV Production Companies and their community in the United States. Understanding how music helps to tell stories and is synced in TV programming and Film is crucial. A creative problem solver, you'll also be able to grasp data, using it to help guide how you work. You will be working with some of the highest value TV/Film content producers and will manage existing creative relationships as well as building new relationships with producers and editors from Broadcasters and production companies, ensuring they know where to go when they want great service and exceptional, high quality music. You'll get to know the catalogue, the artists, producers and composers we work with so that you're able to pitch the right tracks every time. You'll provide feedback to our music team letting them know any gaps in the catalogue - and any hot spots too! If you identify a creative opportunity whether that be in terms of licensing or a marketing idea, you'll have the initiative to jump on it and give it wings. YOUR EXPERIENCE - Minimum of 4 years' experience within sync/publishing/sales. - Established relationships within the U.S. Television production and broadcast community. - Proven record of scheduling and attending client meetings. - Existing relationships in the indie Film community is a plus. - Experienced in pitching and placing music in productions and films. - Experience researching and prospecting new clients. - Proven success with negotiating and closing sync deals. - Experience using a CRM is a plus. SPECIAL SKILLS - You need to know music, love TV and Film content and know which production companies make which programming for unscripted content, and which music supervisors are selecting the music for scripted content. - Music moves you, you understand how and why it moves others, and you know how to find music for and communicate music to clients - You're confident, can create compelling pitches, and communicate your ideas articulately. - You have solid client facing experience. - Presenting and networking are second nature to you; you know many people across the business, particularly within the Television Production and Broadcast space. - We're after someone special; someone with spark, initiative and creative flare. Someone with ideas to challenge themselves and the team to think - outside and around the box. - Maybe you'll be a whiz at pitching or have spent years working in production or television and understand how the shoe fits from a client's perspective. This role will help shape and execute marketing initiatives-including social media and promotional campaigns-to drive music performance across all streaming platforms and support the label's digital creative vision in Nashville. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the day-to-day management of assigned US release campaigns, ensuring proactive communication and oversight of all logistics. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage competing priorities, and brings strong collaboration and relationship-building skills. The Director, Synch Licensing will lead the strategic development, pitching, and licensing of music across traditional and emerging visual media. This position will drive synch revenue growth, cultivate strategic industry partnerships, and amplify the global impact of the MNRK catalog. The ideal candidate brings strong creative instincts, deep industry relationships, and a proven track record of securing high-visibility placements. This role reports to the VP of Synch, Dualtone, and works collaboratively across the entire group (MNRK, Dualtone, Last Gang and Prosthetic). What You Will Be Doing: - Lead and execute synch strategy across the MNRK catalog to drive revenue, exposure, and artist development. - Develop and maintain direct relationships with music supervisors, trailer houses, advertising agencies, film studios, television networks, production companies, and game developers. - Proactively pitch catalog and frontline releases for synch opportunities aligned with artist campaigns and strategic priorities. - Oversee the synch pipeline, including opportunity tracking, pitch follow-ups, licensing status, and usage reporting. - Partner closely with A&R, marketing, and artist management to align synch efforts with release cycles, brand positioning, and long-term career development. - Identify emerging synch opportunities across traditional media and new platforms, including streaming, trailers, gaming, and brand partnerships. - Manage and optimize catalog readiness, including metadata quality, asset organization, and pitch-ready playlists across platforms such as DISCO and Songspace. - Analyze synch performance data and industry trends to inform strategy and improve pitching effectiveness. - Mentor and manage synch staff and/or coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
