Role Description Sentinel Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Network Support Engineer with CCIE-level expertise in Routing and Switching. This is a high-impact, senior-level role requiring deep technical knowledge, strong customer engagement skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers. Role Description Sentinel is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team. As Network Engineer you will be responsible for providing network support and administrative functions for one of Sentinel’s national customers. The ideal candidate should be detailed oriented, have a strong technical background, and be very customer oriented. This role does have an on call rotation every 5-6 weeks. Responsibilities The Threat Investigation Analyst is a key member of the Threat Operations Team and serves as a first responder to cybersecurity incidents. This role is responsible for triaging, investigating, and responding to security alerts to protect customer environments. Analysts evaluate real-world logs, network traffic, and security artifacts to determine malicious versus benign activity and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 4x10 (3:00 PM CST - 1:30 AM CST). Training will be Monday through Friday 8:30 AM CST - 5:00 PM CST, until we feel you are ready to be assigned to your dedicated shift. This position can be remote, with occasional onsite support required at our Downers Grove, IL headquarters.
