Role Description The Service Installation (SI) Specialist is responsible for guiding on-site field technicians through the installation procedures and the related best practices guidelines to deploy fixed wireless solutions in an enterprise environment. The SI Specialist must have the ability to communicate the information to field technicians that will lead to successful installations on the first try within the budgeted timeframe. The technician should possess advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills that will be applied to customer tickets as well as during the critical field installation. The individual will work with other support teams, management, and network engineers to troubleshoot connections and resolve customer issues. This individual will have to be proficient in maintaining accurate database records as a secondary function. • Sustain production test operations for SPP Silicon Photonics products (LIP, Burn-In, ECL test flows) at the supplier in Taipei, ensuring stable throughput, yield, and quality; own the day-to-day technical interface with supplier engineering, resolving test issues through root cause analysis and corrective action (30%). • Monitor and improve production metrics – yield, throughput, retest rate, and cycle time; lead SPC implementation and continuous improvement initiatives; manage hold-lot disposition for production-line quality events and lead customer-return RMA (20%). • Drive automation and process standardization – convert currently manual, tribal-knowledge processes (pick-and-place packaging, optical alignment, light coupling) into documented, automated, and scalable production; build and maintain test-procedure documentation (X/Y/Z stage calibration, laser-path tuning, recipe management) and release into Semtech AgilePLM (20%). • Support customer test-data requirements – test data integrity, e-data delivery, and shipment quality; partner with Semtech IT and customer counterparts on automated test-data transmission and API integration to customer systems (15%). • Support test capacity ramp planning, including qualification of new test equipment (BI, LIP, ECL, gain test); provide regular status updates on open initiatives to the internal management team and key customers (15%).

Role Description The AI Operations Analyst at Semtech provides technical and operational project coordination, supporting the implementation of AI-powered tools in close collaboration with the operations team which encompasses Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Purchasing and related functions.
