Company Satoshi Energy is at the forefront of energy innovation, championing the colocation of AI and bitcoin data centers with renewable energy assets. As the first mover in 2018, we have developed nearly 500 MW of data centers in ERCOT, with an additional 5 GWs of data center projects under development. Building on learnings from our extensive development business, we are pursuing an even larger opportunity - fast, accurate, and transparent energy transactions. Data centers and energy suppliers are limited by antiquated information technology and information asymmetry. Energy transactions are slow, opaque, and inefficient, creating friction between buyers and sellers, and ultimately increasing risk and cost. Our software solution, Bitcurrent, enables data centers to transact automatically, 24/7, with digital money. The Role Our team brings deep expertise across electric power markets, project development, and software development, positioning us as trusted experts in this rapidly evolving market. We are seeking an experienced Software Product Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of our software products. You will play a key role in defining the product vision, roadmap, and strategy, and you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and iterations. The ideal candidate will have an energy background, a deep understanding of user needs, and the ability to balance technical requirements with business objectives. Requirements Requirements 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager leading software teams that have shipped high-quality, high-value products on schedule Proven record of launching products from 0 to 1 (from concept to launch) Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and familiarity with product management tools (Airtable, Linear). Proven ability to define product strategies, create product roadmaps, and execute against them. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Strong understanding of Energy Markets, including familiarity with how energy markets work, energy contracts, energy billing, tariffs, and demand-response systems. Understanding of Bitcoin basics, including what it is, how it works, its key components, and related applications. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. • End-to-End Project Execution: You will drive data center development projects from site identification through commercial operation, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality standards. You will manage critical paths, remove blockers, and coordinate seamlessly across development stages. • Team Development: You will mentor and develop project managers and junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. You will help scale team capabilities, provide coaching and feedback, and contribute to hiring efforts as the organization grows. • Stakeholder Management: You will cultivate and manage relationships with data center customers, utilities, landowners, consultants, and engineering firms. You will navigate complex negotiations, develop strong partnerships, and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle. • Strategic Contribution: You will contribute to business development efforts, including evaluating new opportunities, conducting feasibility assessments, and translating technical constraints into commercial decisions. You will work with sales and leadership to qualify prospects and structure deals. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will collaborate closely with our CEO, COO, engineering, sales, and operations teams to align on priorities, resolve challenges, and drive projects forward. Your ability to bridge technical execution with business strategy will be essential. • Process Development: You will help build and refine development processes, templates, and best practices as the organization scales, contributing to operational excellence across the team.
• Team Leadership & Development: You will lead, mentor, and grow a team of project development managers and engineers across multiple concurrent projects. You will establish team processes, drive accountability, foster a culture of excellence, and develop talent as the organization scales. • End-to-End Project Execution: You will oversee data center development projects from site identification through commercial operation - ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality standards. You will prioritize critical paths, remove blockers, and ensure seamless handoffs between development stages. • Strategic Customer & Stakeholder Management: You will cultivate and manage relationships with strategic data center customers on critical projects while coaching and supporting your development team in their customer engagements. You will be the decision maker and support the team navigating complex negotiations, developing transformational partnerships, and ensuring customer satisfaction while coordinating with utilities, landowners, consultants, and internal teams. • Business Development & Pipeline Growth: You will lead strategic business development including exploring new power markets, evaluating innovative business models within existing markets, and continuously assessing our current approach. You will drive deal origination by conducting enterprise-level feasibility assessments, translating technical constraints into commercial decisions, and working with our sales team to qualify prospects, structure deals, and convert pipeline into executed projects. • Cross-Functional Leadership: You will collaborate with our CEO, COO, engineering, sales, and operations teams to align on strategy, resolve complex challenges, and drive company-wide initiatives. Your ability to bridge technical execution with business strategy will be essential as we scale our Powered Land Development business.
