What You’ll Do Saga Education’s Math Tutors manage a small caseload of middle or high school students and promote academic success by focusing intently to provide high-dosage, high-impact tutoring that includes daily individualized instruction to students. Saga Education | Change the Equation What You’ll Do The Accounting Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our financial operations organized and running smoothly. You’ll manage accounts payable, process expense reports, track vendor contracts, and assist with monthly accounting tasks. As the go-to person for payments and expense-related questions, you’ll collaborate with vendors, employees, and the finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This is an ideal role for someone who loves numbers, enjoys staying organized, and thrives in a mission-driven environment. You’ll be part of a supportive team, helping to ensure our resources are used effectively to advance our mission of changing the equation in education. Your responsibilities will include: Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor payments using BILL. Request W-9s Send out BILL account invite to parties requesting reimbursement Monitor outstanding AP aging and follow up on payment issues or discrepancies. Support AP reporting and KPIs, such as aging analysis Support 1099 preparation (and issue resolution: If TIN match returns error, reach out to vendors to obtain the correct tax IDs) Expense and Credit Card Management: Process company credit card expense reports. Manage company card reimbursement requests. Download credit card statements each month Provide support for Grubhub credit requests and reconciliations. Follow up with employees for missing receipts, expense clarifications, or approvals. Manage credit card for users, add/remove. Vendor and Contract Management: Save all new vendor contracts and update the contract tracking spreadsheet. Month-End and Accounting Support: Assist with monthly close processes, including report preparation and reconciliations. Monthly Operational Review Reporting. Accounting Support : Maintain accounting files and documentation. Support audit schedules and auditor requests Prepare reports and provide general support to the finance team. Collaborate with the finance team on ad hoc projects and analysis. Staff Communication and Support: Send email communications regarding Concur expense report and BILL processes.
