Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer Roots is seeking a motivated Solutions Engineer to join our growing team and help shape the future of how businesses leverage AI for speed, accuracy, and scale. We’re building cutting-edge infrastructure that powers real-time document processing, custom model deployment, and multimodal intelligence, bringing AI from research to production in one of the world’s most critical and fast-moving markets. Our platform automates complex insurance workflows with 98%+ accuracy and speed, helping carriers and brokers go from months to value in just weeks. About the Role As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer on our team, you will be a technical advisor and advocate for our agentic AI solutions whilst partnering with our Sales team on enabling conversions and deals to drive revenue successful. You will build expertise in our solutions and apply your knowledge to solve complex customer challenges within the Insurance industry with a focus on claims and underwriting. This is an opportunity to join a growing team with an expanding customer base, offering comprehensive commission-based compensation alongside fast growth opportunities and a key voice within our organization. Responsibilities Win the trust of customers by demonstrating technical and business acumen in the insurance space and empathizing with their business challenges. Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for our customers. Develop and deliver engaging demonstrations in collaboration with our sales team to both business and technical users. Work with customer stakeholders to map current processes and architect an optimized process using Artificial Intelligence automation. Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs. Lead, contribute to, and employ best practices in executing demos, POCs and pilots. Help customers customize or extend Roots Automation solution during POC or pilot phases. Present to prospects, customers, and partners at trade shows, conferences, and webinars. Participate in value-added activities including community involvement (meetups), case studies and reference calls. Work with customers and sales team stakeholders to design and align solutions to customer use cases, integration challenges, data reporting, and more. Ability to discuss, with credibility, competitive offers in the marketplace and effectively differentiate against them. Participate in pipeline development, forecasts, and quarterly business reviews.
