Role Description We're seeking a hands-on Enterprise Architect – Integration & Cloud to lead the design, evolution, and optimization of our enterprise technology landscape. This role combines strategic architecture with hands-on technical execution, helping build a scalable, secure, and modern integration ecosystem across our core business platforms, including SAP Business One, SPS Commerce, Azure, and Power BI. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, you'll partner across business and technology teams to design enterprise integration solutions, establish architectural standards, and improve how data flows across our ERP, eCommerce, retail, warehouse, and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex integration challenges, building solutions, and creating long-term architecture that supports business growth. We believe great work can happen in different places, so this role offers flexibility in where you work. You can be based in our Winter Park, Florida office or remotely if you reside in one of the following states: Michigan, Illinois, Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee. The anticipated salary range for this role is $125,000 to $145,000 annually. Final compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. - 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Integration Architecture, preferably in retail, eCommerce, or consumer products. - Hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise integrations using an iPaaS platform such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or Celigo. - Experience integrating SAP Business One with enterprise business systems and third-party applications. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure Integration Services and cloud-native integration patterns. - Experience building or supporting Azure-based data platforms and Power BI reporting solutions. - Solid understanding of REST APIs, web services, event-driven architecture, messaging, and modern integration best practices. - Experience implementing secure integrations using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, API Management, and cloud security best practices. - Experience with retail EDI transactions (850, 855, 856, 810) and trading partner integrations, preferably through SPS Commerce. - Ability to simplify complex application landscapes while improving scalability, reliability, and data quality. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams. Requirements - Define and evolve the company's enterprise integration architecture aligned with business strategy and future growth. - Design and implement scalable integrations across SAP Business One, SPS Commerce (EDI), eCommerce platforms, marketplaces, POS systems, WMS/3PL providers, and Azure-based services. - Lead the transition from point-to-point integrations to a modern, governed integration framework utilizing Boomi, MuleSoft, Celigo, and Azure Integration Services. - Serve as both architect and hands-on developer by designing, configuring, building, testing, and supporting integration solutions. - Develop and maintain reusable integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, monitoring standards, and governance practices. - Build resilient integration workflows including error handling, alerting, retry logic, logging, and performance optimization. - Design and support cloud-native integration and data architectures utilizing Azure Integration Services, including API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Data Factory. - Partner with Business Intelligence teams to build scalable Azure data solutions supporting enterprise reporting and analytics through Power BI. - Develop and maintain Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform. - Ensure cloud solutions are secure, scalable, highly available, and aligned with Azure Well-Architected Framework best practices. - Design secure integration architectures utilizing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), API Management, Azure Key Vault, mTLS, and modern authentication standards. - Apply Zero Trust security principles across integration platforms, ensuring least-privilege access, encrypted communications, and secure network architecture. - Establish data governance standards for sensitive customer, financial, and retail information, including PII handling and data classification. - Develop audit logging, monitoring, incident response procedures, and integration with enterprise security monitoring platforms. - Ensure architecture and integrations comply with applicable standards including SOC 2 and PCI-DSS requirements. - Own the enterprise EDI architecture through SPS Commerce, including trading partner onboarding, transaction mapping, exception management, and operational performance. - Design and support retail EDI transactions including 850, 855, 856, and 810 documents while ensuring compliance with retailer and logistics partner requirements. - Drive consistency and reliability across ERP, supply chain, retail, and customer-facing systems. - Improve enterprise data quality, consistency, and governance across master and reference data domains. - Partner with BI teams to build scalable Azure data pipelines supporting Power BI dashboards and reporting. - Maintain architectural documentation including current and future state diagrams, integration catalogs, capability maps, and data lineage. - Continuously evaluate and simplify the application landscape by reducing technical debt, improving observability, and increasing platform reliability. - Partner with internal technology teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver scalable enterprise solutions. - Provide architectural leadership while maintaining ownership of enterprise integration standards and best practices. - Collaborate closely with Security, Infrastructure, Data, and Compliance teams to ensure technology solutions meet organizational standards.
