Role Description As Senior Product Manager, Hardware Platform, you will own the strategy and execution for the physical layer of our platform — spanning first-party devices, certified hardware, and the OS + peripheral ecosystem that powers them. This role is critical to delivering a scalable, flexible hardware strategy: lead with Qu hardware where it differentiates, and enable customer-owned hardware through certification and compatibility. - Own hardware platform strategy - Define and execute Qu’s hybrid hardware approach (first-party + certified ecosystem) - Drive roadmap across POS terminals, handhelds, kiosks, and peripherals - Bridge hardware, OS, and software - Lead cross-platform strategy across Windows (x86) and Android - Define migration and compatibility approach from legacy systems to modern architectures - Partner with engineering on device abstraction and platform consistency - Own peripherals & device ecosystem - Define strategy for connectivity (USB, Bluetooth, network) and device communication - Drive peripheral support (printers, payments, scanners, etc.) and driver reliability - Ensure consistent performance across diverse hardware environments - Build certification & partner ecosystem - Establish and scale hardware certification programs - Partner with OEMs, device manufacturers, and payment providers - Enable customers to extend lifecycle of existing hardware investments - Deliver end-to-end execution - Own product lifecycle from concept → launch → scale - Align hardware roadmap with platform and GTM strategy - Drive tradeoffs across cost, performance, durability, and deployment speed Qualifications - 5+ years of product management experience with hardware, device platforms, or embedded systems - Strong understanding of Windows (x86) and Android architectures - Experience with peripherals, connectivity, and driver ecosystems - Track record working with hardware vendors, OEMs, or certification programs - Ability to operate across hardware, software, and platform layers - Experience in restaurant tech, payments or point of sale
We’re looking for a Merchant & Payments Onboarding Manager to lead and scale onboarding for mid-market and enterprise restaurant brands across the Qu ecosystem. This role owns the full onboarding journey, from merchant application through activation and go-live. Working across payments, product, and customer experience, this person will ensure merchants are onboarded quickly, accurately, and with confidence while improving processes to make onboarding more consistent and scalable. At Qu you will: - Own and manage the end-to-end onboarding lifecycle for merchant payments accounts - Coordinate applications, KYC/KYB verification, underwriting, and processor setup - Configure merchant accounts including processing, settlement and reporting structures - Support onboarding across embedded payments, gateway integrations and processor configurations - Manage onboarding for multi-location and enterprise restaurant brands, including complex ownership structures - Drive onboarding timelines and accountability across internal teams, external partners and customers aligned for successful go-lives - Identify friction points in the onboarding journey and streamline workflows to reduce time and complexity - Maintain and improve onboarding documentation, processes and playbooks - Partner with implementation, payments engineering and customer success teams on go-live readiness and optimization - Support device provisioning, remote configuration and activation workflows - Validate payment flows across in-store, digital and partner channels - Coordinate and execute transaction testing and certification across different gateway and processor environments - Serve as a primary point of contact for customers during onboarding - Educate customers on payments setup, settlement, reporting, and reconciliation - Track and analyze onboarding metrics and help drive continuous improvement What we're looking for: - 4–7+ years of experience in payments, fintech, onboarding, implementation, or operations - Strong understanding of merchant onboarding and payments workflows, including gateways, processors, and merchant acquiring - Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders - Strong communication, organizational, and customer-facing skills - Strong process orientation with a track record of improving workflows and operational efficiency - High attention to detail with the ability to operate in both execution and strategic improvement models - Experience supporting mid-market, enterprise, or multi-location customers preferred - Restaurant, hospitality, POS, or integrated payments experience preferred - Thrives in a rapid-growth setting, where priorities can shift quickly to meet client demands
