Role Description The Engineering & Operations Lead, Information Security will be responsible for driving the design, implementation, optimization, and operational management of Qore’s cybersecurity engineering and security operations capabilities. The role requires deep expertise in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, threat detection and response, infrastructure security, cloud security, and operational resilience within highly regulated financial environments. Market Expansion and Client Segmentation - Define the company's market expansion and segmentation strategy, monitor market expansion and segmentation activities at an executive level and oversee high-level marketing strategies for new markets. - Foster cross-functional collaboration on market initiatives and evaluate the impact of market expansion and segmentation on the success of the product. - Drive below-the-line activities to augment customer acquisitions and represent Qore at industry forums in order to continually drive awareness. Stakeholder Engagement / Management - Regularly interact across functional areas with senior leadership and executives to ensure alignment and that the departmental objectives are met. - Develop long-term strategic relationships with industry stakeholders while leveraging those relationships to deepen the Qore footprint across the industry and region. Requirements - BSc in any discipline from a reputable and accredited higher institution. - 7+ years’ work experience in business development or sales role in a financial institution, and/or multinational B2B financial technology or technology company, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity, preferably in the South East and/or Northern regions of Nigeria. - Strong capabilities in B2B sales operations, relationship management, lead generation, lead conversion, negotiation, and product presentation, with good understanding of the local language, network and relationship with merchants and agents within the South East and/or Northern regions of Nigeria. - Good knowledge of software development, banking, and/or similar automated enterprise-based lending solutions. - Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills, good relationship management and negotiation skills - Good business acumen and a strong drive for result with resilience, determination, capacity and willingness to learn, unlearn and relearn - Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to collaborate, work, manage and interact with employees across different management cadres. - Technology savvy with good knowledge of Agency Banking / Merchant Services platforms and products and its variant solutions is highly essential.
