Role Description QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting an Embedded Field Service Representative (Technician) to join our team, at Fort Benning, GA to support our customer, Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT). This is a remote position. - Provides field support services related to troubleshooting and repair of systems, performs software updates, and mentors Soldiers in the execution of maintenance. - Facilitates higher level repair of equipment. - Ensures support equipment is regularly calibrated and maintained. - Troubleshoot related product malfunctions. - Install, modify, wire, fabricate and maintain systems. - Distinguish between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems. Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. - Four (4) years of total experience with the testing of electronic equipment, to include two (2) years of experience in the testing and troubleshooting of electronic subsystem installations in military systems. Requirements - Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills. - ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret - Less than 33% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations. Work Environment - This position will be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, government offices, military bases and depots, warehouse/maintenance shops, and/or field environments that include extended periods outdoors. Role Description QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Program Analyst, ICIDS Site Lead to join our team at Fort Belvoir, VA to support our Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PdM FPS) contract. This position is a remote position with 50% travel expected. - Represent the Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System (ICIDS) program and the PM Force Protection Systems (FPS) Program Office to the military installation (site), and the ICIDS installation contractor, from pre-site survey through the operations and sustainment for the ICIDS installation. - Act as the interface/intermediary between these organizations and as the Program Office Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the sites assigned. - Arrange site meetings/visits, participate in conference calls and design reviews with the site and installation contractor. - Confer with the installation contractor’s site manager and Site Points of Contact (POCs) on a weekly basis and report results to the ICIDS Assistant Product Manager (APM). - Coordinate with the site principals for installation updates, issues encountered during fielding, testing, and sustainment. - Review Government Cost Estimates for the installation and prepare Technical Evaluations of price estimates for the site installation and subsequent modifications. - Review and assess technical, cost, and schedule data. Identify shortfalls and potential corrective actions. - Prepare Site Survey/Site Design and Implementation Contracts Packages for new sites. - Draft, review, staff, file, and update a variety of documents, including memorandums, information and issue papers, briefings, e-mails, and meeting minutes. - Maintain a list of required documents for assigned programs with corresponding projected need dates. - Participate and provide input to program functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Interim Progress Reviews (IPRs), milestone decisions, and required program updates. - Coordinate both internal and external conferences, meetings, and reviews for relevant stakeholders. - Provide input to support annual, monthly, and weekly recurring reports, as needed. - Assist in determining appropriate assignments, setting priorities, monitoring progress, and reporting on progress to meet established milestones and deadlines. - Identify, manage, and track risks associated with assigned projects/installations. - Assist in the review, preparation, and submission of responses to formal tasks related to acquisition and program office operations. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required. Preferably in program management, engineering, systems management, business management, computer sciences, information management, or a related discipline. - Six (6) years of general experience required. One (1) year as a practicing analyst responsible for a functional area of an acquisition program, preferred. - An additional three (3) years’ experience in a related field may be substituted for education. Requirements - Must be able to work independently, be detail oriented and organized. - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, among a variety of audiences. - Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in effective use of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project. - Knowledge of DoD and Army installation infrastructure preferred. - Knowledge of Army Physical Security Program and applicable policies and regulations, preferred. - Experience in project management, engineering management, DoD acquisition, equipment fielding, or another related subject of comparable complexity and responsibility preferred. - Experience in both R&D production and/or deployment phases of the acquisition process, preferred. Travel - Up to 50% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations and may be up to one (1) month in duration.
