Role Description The Training Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs that will boost employee’s workplace performance in alliance with the Company’s core values. The Training Coordinator will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for managing all phases of training interventions. Job Responsibilities - Support the operation of Training & Development Programs, trainers, and managers - Provide coordination, organizational, communication and data entry support for stages of assessing, scheduling, training, and processing trainees who are participating in mentoring and trainings, including: - Communicating with and organizing team members using written, spoken/signed, and digital/virtual modalities - Tracking trainee progress on required activities in relevant databases - Updating and maintaining digital materials, resources, databases - Utilizing web-based tools such as SharePoint, Quickbase and Canvas LMS to maintain in-house reporting processes - Participating in project management planning - Work closely with Training & Development Managers on program objectives and support needs - Participate in team meetings - Ensure the highest quality customer experience possible for all internal and external customers - Support other members and functions of the Operations department - Perform other duties and special projects as assigned - (If qualified) Provide interpreting services as needed for center operations to include Video Relay (VRS), Video Remote (VRI), and on-site community interpreting assignments Qualifications - 2 years of experience as assistant/coordinator in an administrative or training environment - Must possess a technical aptitude for supporting onsite and remote services - Competence in ASL and understanding of Deaf culture preferred - College degree preferred Work Environment - Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time: - Sitting, standing, and walking (95-100%) - Keyboarding (40-60%) - Viewing computer monitor, videophone, and cell phone (40-60%) - Lifting computers and other equipment - Position may require some travel Disclaimer The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
