Role Description PURE Insurance is seeking a AVP, AI Engineering to help turn AI strategy into real, production-grade solutions that deliver measurable business value. Reporting to the VP, AI Engineering, this role sits at the intersection of hands-on development, technical leadership, and business engagement. This is a highly visible “builder-leader” role focused on unlocking the value of unstructured data (documents, images, audio/voice, and more) using both traditional AI techniques (e.g., deep learning, NLP, computer vision) and modern generative AI approaches. The AVP, AI Engineering will: - Design, build, and deploy production-ready AI/GenAI solutions, with a strong focus on extracting value from unstructured data sources (documents, images, audio, etc.). - Act as a high-impact individual contributor and technical leader, leading by example through hands-on development while influencing best practices across teams. - Partner closely with business stakeholders and technical leaders to frame problems, identify high-value use cases, and translate them into scalable AI solutions. - Execute against a broader AI strategy while contributing domain-level insights and innovation, especially in emerging areas like generative and agentic AI. - Develop foundational AI capabilities (“building blocks”) such as OCR pipelines, document understanding systems, and reusable GenAI patterns that accelerate future use cases. - Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions, balancing speed with long-term scalability and maintainability. - Navigate ambiguity and build solutions where playbooks do not yet exist, bringing structure and clarity to undefined problem spaces. - Ensure solutions are successfully deployed, adopted, and embedded into business workflows to drive measurable impact (not just technical success). - Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, MLOps Engineering, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration into PURE’s broader data ecosystem. - Help identify and prioritize “low-hanging fruit” opportunities while also contributing to more complex, high-impact initiatives over time. - Participate in discussions around AI governance, architecture, and long-term vision, while focusing primarily on execution and delivery. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred. - ~6–10 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI, with strong hands-on expertise in building and deploying real-world solutions. - Experience working with unstructured data (e.g., text, documents, images, audio, video), including techniques such as NLP, computer vision, or deep learning. - Experience with generative and agentic AI, including deploying real-world use cases into production. - Strong coding and software engineering skills (e.g., Python), with an understanding of what it takes to move from prototype to production. - A “builder” mindset: able to take loosely defined problems and turn them into working, scalable solutions without predefined playbooks. - Experience balancing rapid prototyping with thoughtful system design, managing technical tradeoffs effectively. - Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable solutions. - Understanding that delivering value requires not just building models, but ensuring adoption, integration, and operational impact. - Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams (data science, engineering, product, etc.). - Familiarity with P&C insurance or financial services is strongly preferred but not required. - A pragmatic and curious approach to technology: focused on solving the right problems, not just using the latest tools. About the role.  The Territory Manager will be a key production member reporting to the VP, Regional Executive. The primary goal of this position is to develop and execute business development plans to drive PURE's growth in their specified territories. The ideal candidate must live within the territory, with a preference to be in the San Francisco Area. About the Role We are seeking professional Property Claims Adjuster with a passion for customer service and a proven record of success. The position encompasses the delivery of flawless service to our members and independent agency partners, developing ease of doing business practices that result in efficient and timely operational support for the organization. The preferred candidate resides in the DFW area; however, candidates located elsewhere in Texas (Austin, Houston) may also be considered. What You’ll Do - Handle claims in a quality manner delivering on standards of accuracy, efficiency, customer service and regulatory compliance. - Represent the company in interactions with members, agents, as well as internal stake-holders in underwriting, product management and finance. - Resolve claims and respond to inquiries involving members, agents, vendors (independent adjusters/appraisers, salvage, rental, car agencies), defense and plaintiff attorneys. - First notice of loss and claim assignment. - Determine coverage, damages, reserve and resolve claims. - Handle subrogation on closed files. - Appraise and assess new risks and some Catastrophe planning - Authority for making appropriate coverage determinations, reserve and resolving claims, status updates with agents, members and vendors as well as making reserve decisions on individual files, requests payments to pay loss cost or loss adjustment expenses. - Individual may need to enter and access damaged buildings and climb ladders to assess roof damage. About the Role We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Integration Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using technologies such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, Spring Boot , and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) . You will play a key role in shaping and supporting our integration landscape, working within Agile and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, cloud expertise, and the ability to mentor junior developers while collaborating effectively across technical and business teams. What You'll Do Integration Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support integration solutions aligned with business needs. Create low-level integration designs that can be effectively implemented and maintained by the wider team. Review, analyze, and challenge high-level designs to ensure alignment with integration technologies, standards, and technical strategy.
