Role Description Printpack is seeking an Information Systems Manager I or Information Systems Analyst I to join our Information Systems team. The level at which the successful candidate is hired will be determined based on their qualifications, experience, and demonstrated technical and project leadership capabilities. This position qualifies for 100% remote work; however, candidates must be located in the Atlanta, Georgia area and within driving distance of the Corporate Office to support periodic onsite meetings, collaboration, and business needs. This position serves as a hybrid functional and technical resource, supporting business systems, enterprise applications, and software development initiatives. The role participates in and/or leads activities throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for small to medium-sized projects, with a primary focus on Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) ERP implementations, enhancements, integrations, and ongoing support. The Information Systems Manager I / Information Systems Analyst I is a globally focused position responsible for evaluating, recommending, implementing, and supporting improvements across various JD Edwards (JDE) modules to optimize business processes, enhance system functionality, and improve the overall user experience. This role also develops and delivers end-user training and support programs to drive system adoption, increase user proficiency, and improve operational efficiency. Qualifications - Four (4) year college degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred. - PMP (PMI) certification preferred. Requirements - Substantial years of experience and a working knowledge of a minimum of one JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) module; proficiency in multiple modules is strongly preferred. - Substantial experience working in the technical support field, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate directly with business partners to identify and define project requirements, while effectively engaging IT partners to translate those requirements into viable technical solutions. - Provide strategic leadership in the functional design, implementation, and ongoing support of JD Edwards (JDE)-based solutions, ensuring they comprehensively address business requirements and fully align with Printpack's established standards, guidelines, and best practices. - Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including functional and technical specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials. - Serve as the primary point of contact, providing end-to-end functional and technical support for JD Edwards (JDE) Manufacturing and its associated procurement and inventory modules, ensuring uninterrupted business continuity and sustained operational performance. - Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and subject matter expertise to Support Analysts in the effective identification and resolution of highly complex technical and functional issues. - Effectively triage, manage, and resolve JD Edwards (JDE) Tier 1 and Tier 2 application support requests logged through the FreshService Ticketing System, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to established service level agreements (SLAs). - Proactively monitor and evaluate new software releases, support packs, and kernel upgrades, assessing their potential impact on existing applications and the end-user community to ensure system stability and operational continuity. - Maintain a current and comprehensive understanding of industry trends, emerging best practices, and the latest Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) updates and innovations, ensuring the organization strategically leverages cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement. - Facilitate targeted training sessions and proactively transfer knowledge to team members, empowering them with the skills and expertise necessary to perform their roles effectively and drive team capability. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Functional Expertise. - Expert-level knowledge in at least one JDE E1 module (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Demand to Available, Quality Management, Shop Floor Control, Capital Asset Management, or Warehouse Management). - SQL Development & Database Programming - Proficiency ranging from basic queries to advanced database programming, stored procedures, and query optimization. - Project Management & SDLC - The ability to lead small to medium-scale projects through complete Software Development Life Cycle using structured methodologies. - Agile Development Methodology - Understanding and application of Agile development practices for iterative project delivery and continuous improvement. - Report writing - Experience creating, maintaining, and enhancing business reports and analytics dashboards. - Business Requirements Analysis - Skills in gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical solutions. - Stakeholder Communication & Management - The ability to maintain proactive communication with project stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration. - End-User Training Development & Delivery - The capability to assess training needs, develop comprehensive education programs, and deliver effective user training. - Manufacturing ERP Systems Knowledge - Working experience with manufacturing environment applications and understanding of business process integration. - Technical Troubleshooting & Support - Advanced problem-solving skills for system issues with ability to provide solutions within established SLA timelines. - Written & Verbal Communication - Effective communication abilities for technical documentation, presentations, and stakeholder interactions. - Cross-Functional Relationship Building - The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse business and technical teams at all levels. - System Enhancement Evaluation - Skills in identifying, evaluating, and recommending system improvements that enhance user productivity and operational efficiency. - Change Management & User Adoption - Understanding of change management principles to facilitate successful system implementations and user acceptance. - Strategic Business Consulting - The ability to provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to optimize manufacturing and distribution operations. Physical Demands & Travel - Travel as required, approximately 10% travel per year. - The associate will usually work in an office environment and will need to possess: - Extended periods seated at computer workstation. - Required to follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) procedures. - Ability to lift and carry standard office materials. - Manual dexterity for detailed analysis and data entry. - Visual acuity for complex data analysis and document review. - Ability to wear required PPE in manufacturing areas during plant visits (hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses). Work Conditions - Position qualifies for 100% remote policy at Printpack. - Work performed primarily in an office environment with occasional visits to manufacturing facilities. - Ideally candidate must be based in Atlanta, GA within driving distance of Printpack Corporate office. - Standard business hours with flexibility required for: - Coordination with global team members across time zones. - Project deadlines and system implementations. - After-hours escalation and on-call duty for business-impacting issues. - Must maintain availability for emergency response and critical system issues. Role Description Printpack's Graphic Services team is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of plant Graphics Coordinator. This position will be remote and will report to the Graphic Coordination Supervisor. This Graphics Coordinator involves coordinating prepress requirements for customer accounts and reviewing electronic artwork for print production. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Additional skills desired are a thorough knowledge of the graphics process as it relates to flexographic printing and demonstrated competence in front-end graphic software. Purpose: - Coordinate the development of graphics for U.S. converting facilities through internal and external customer-facing communication. - Provide technical expertise and developmental input for new and revised graphics for customers with established workflows for flexographic printing. - Manage graphics development to maximize print efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Support and participate in a culture of Safety and Quality. - Coordinate and develop graphics projects and accurate supporting paperwork across multiple Printpack U.S. converting facilities. - Solicit input from production departments in the development of new graphics and revisions. - Resolve daily challenges and build long-term relationships with customers, vendors, and production staff. - Execute accurate and timely graphics invoicing. - Engage in healthy graphics interaction and communication with other functional groups throughout Printpack, supporting continuous improvement throughout the organization. - Act as a flexographic technical resource for plant production, sales, and customers during onboarding of new accounts and revisions to existing, ensuring clear understanding of capabilities and outcomes by all parties. - Execute project-based work to successful completion. Challenges: - Production facilities requesting graphics setup that does not align with BDP’s and standardization efforts. - Incorrect root cause diagnosis for printing issues from various other functional groups. - Establishing realistic project expectations and timelines with Sales/Customers that are achievable by Printpack. - Challenges with staying current with prepress industry trends and customer workflow requirements to strengthen Printpack’s prepress value proposition. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in graphics, related field, or equivalent work experience preferred. - Proficiency in the following: - Enterprise Systems, or other database software - Electronic File Management - Flexographic prepress workflows - General understanding of flexographic equipment and hardware. - Experience with remote project management a plus. Requirements - Ability to work flexibly across multiple business units and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. - Possesses the ability to multitask daily activities and manage multiple communication streams. - Possesses understanding of prepress job engineering and graphics coordination tasks for flexible packaging applications. - Ability to summarize project updates and technical data into concise written reports. - Ability to make decisions and be flexible to the changing demands of the business. - Customer-facing bias for communication internally and externally. - Strong conflict management skills. - Proficient in computer skills. - Demonstrated ability in the following key job activities: - Effective written and oral communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external customers and staff. - Problem-solving as it relates to the graphic/printing areas. - Project management. - Critical examination and checking with close attention to detail. Physical Demands & Travel - Physical Demands: Prolonged periods working at a desk in an office environment. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. - Travel Requirements: 5% travel (PPK locations, customer visits, training seminars/conferences). Work Conditions - When working in the field, an incumbent may be required to work on the plant floor, make long walks to review existing conditions, take measurements, etc. - Position is typically a Monday-Friday day position, except for working in plants or supporting projects, which may result in longer hours for periods of time. - During visits to Manufacturing Plants, associates may be exposed to the manufacturing environment where hazards and requirements may include, but are not limited to the use of Personal Protective Equipment (noise above 80 dB., solvent fumes, plates, and inks).
