Role Description The Territory Manager is responsible for driving rental sales of light to medium-duty trucks from PTR’s fleet by achieving opportunity-based sales goals. This role requires an advanced and ambitious salesperson dedicated to expanding an existing book of business. Success in this position demands strong communication skills, extensive product knowledge, and the ability to cultivate and build long-term relationships with clients. The Territory Manager will travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, with a minimum travel requirement of 50%. This position includes a company vehicle, laptop, cell phone, and credit card to support the execution of duties effectively. Responsibilities - Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Relentlessly pursue business targets through effective sales strategies for the territory, aiming to achieve business objectives and revenue targets. - Client Relationship Management: Obtain new customer accounts, expand current customer accounts, and assist existing customers in expanding their business footprints. Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for territory growth. - Product Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge and understanding of each product line PTR offers. Emphasize the features and benefits of PTR’s product offering, add-ons, and customization options. - Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and the competitive landscape to inform business decisions. - Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and deliver on sales targets, analyze sales performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed sales goals. - Product Demonstrations: Perform product demonstrations while on-site at customer locations to showcase PTR’s product offerings and their benefits. - Documentation and Reporting: Document sales activities and achievements in the CRM Salesforce. Meticulously track and manage customer data, ensuring streamlined operations and enhanced customer relationships. Prepare regular reports for management review. - Customer Support: Provide ongoing support and consultation to clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Be recognized as a resource to our customers for any questions about our products and their opportunities. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, finance, continuous improvement, and the internal sales team, to ensure cohesive and effective business operations. - Travel Requirements: Travel a minimum of 35%-50% within the territory, including overnight stays and occasional weekend work, to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct on-site assessments and presentations. - Professional Representation: Represent PTR in both professional and social environments, including tradeshows, onsite meetings, and customer events. - Communication and Presentations: Utilize the Microsoft Office suite to develop presentations and respond to customer and internal communications promptly. Quickly and effectively establish genuine relationships with people. - Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques. - Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards. Qualifications - 5+ years of territory manager, regional account manager, regional sales manager, national sales manager, or outside sales experience. Multi-state experience preferred. - Ability to convert prospects into closed sales via advanced sales strategy skillset. - Strong sales reporting, technical aptitude, and analysis skills required. - Strong collaboration skills with the ability to effectively interact with personnel from all aspects of the business unit. - Ability to take initiative and uniquely motivated to anticipate obstacles and challenges while remaining solution focused. - Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. - High energy, fast-paced professional that is honest and operates with high ethical standards. - Strong PC skills; early adopter of technology. - Excellent organization, presentation, communication, and follow-through skills. - 50% Minimum Travel Requirement. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in business or related field (Nice to Have). - Medium-duty truck rental, oil, gas and utility sales experience (Nice to Have). - Prior experience using CRMs such as Salesforce and prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator or lead management software (Nice to Have). - Existing relationships and customer base in the existing territory (Nice to Have). - Prior experience with Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics (Nice to Have). Role Description This Collections Specialist will undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks to help guarantee the company’s revenues. The team member is responsible for assisting in managing outstanding company receivables and providing stellar customer service across all communications, from the submission of invoices to the collection of payments. The Collections Specialist is also responsible for reporting updates to management on customer account status and outstanding issues. Responsibilities - Participate in all processes associated with the collection of accounts receivable. - Maintain an effective and cooperative working relationship with customers and the sales team. - Correspond by email and phone in a fast-paced, goal-oriented atmosphere on all invoice short payments, billing errors, and collection issues. - Prepare collection issues, call past due accounts daily, and document results weekly in a spreadsheet. - Respond to calls from customers and provide requested information. - Support billing, month-end tasks, yearly audit requests, and the sales team when needed. - Conduct research using D365 and Salesforce; review and analyze invoices. - Send email communications with invoices and statements, followed by prompt phone call follow-ups. - Manage a high volume of approximately 90 customers per week, ensuring timely follow-up. - Contact each customer within one day of sending communications to ensure receipt and address any issues. - Handle scenarios such as non-responses, wrong contacts, internal delays, or pending actions with their teams. - Maintain persistence and ensure customers know you're committed to resolving issues. - Be proactive and confident in making phone calls. - Investigate and understand the underlying reasons for payment delays or issues. Qualifications - A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in collections or a related field, or 2 years of relevant education and/or industry certifications that provide foundational knowledge of billing and collection practices. - Ability to review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and collection opportunities. - Demonstrated experience handling a large portfolio of accounts, with a consistent record of reducing aged receivables. - Ability to identify, address, and resolve issues related to billing, payments, and customer queries promptly. - Proficiency in Excel, including experience with spreadsheets for tracking and documenting collection activities. - Meticulous attention to detail in managing multiple customer accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting. - Flexibility to shift focus quickly based on changing priorities or urgent collection issues. - Demonstrated ability to navigate challenging customer conversations and negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining positive business relationships. - Familiarity with remote communication and collaboration platforms, such as Microsoft Teams. - Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP), accounting, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Salesforce, or similar platforms used for collections, invoicing, and account management. Requirements - Relevant industry certifications, such as Credit Business Associate (CBA) or Certified Credit and Collection Professional (CCCP). - Proficiency with accounting and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Salesforce, or similar systems used for collections, invoicing, and account management.
