Role Description We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Product Design team at Pleo. Pleo has spent the last decade changing how companies spend. More than 40,000 businesses across Europe rely on us to manage expenses, cards, reimbursements, and company money with confidence. Now we’re entering our next chapter. The way people interact with software is changing rapidly. AI is reshaping how products are built and how customers expect them to work. We believe this doesn’t reduce the importance of product design: it raises the bar. More than ever, customers need products that make complex systems feel understandable, trustworthy, and effortless. You’ll join either our Treasury or Spend Control area , two critical parts of the product that together help customers move money with confidence and stay in control of how it’s spent. - Design cash management, transfers, investment experiences, or approval workflows. - Work on spending policies and controls. If you’re excited by designing systems rather than screens, enjoy solving difficult product problems, and want to help define what AI-powered product design looks like over the next decade, we’d love to meet you. Qualifications - Significant experience designing financial, data-dense, policy-driven, or otherwise complex software products. - A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional craft, strong product thinking, and measurable customer or business impact. - Comfort using quantitative data to sharpen your judgment. - Experience partnering closely with Research, Analytics, Product Management, and Engineering. - Strong communication skills. - A pragmatic instinct for balancing quality, speed, and technical reality. - Comfort operating in ambiguity. Requirements - Redesigned a financial flow and measurably improved customer outcomes. - Designed and evaluated experiments by forming hypotheses and testing ideas. - Built products across multiple markets with localisation and regulation as design constraints. - Identified a structural customer problem and influenced the organisation to solve it. - Took a workflow that customers accepted as “just how it works” and redesigned it into something simpler. - Mentored designers or improved how your organisation approaches product design. Benefits - Your own Pleo card (no more out-of-pocket spending!) - Lunch is on us for your work days - enjoy catered meals or receive a lunch allowance based on your local office. - Comprehensive private healthcare - depending on your location, coverage options include Vitality, Alan or Médis. - 25 days of holiday + your public holidays. - Hybrid and fully remote working options. - Access to free mental health and well-being support through MyndUp. - Paid parental leave. Application Process - Intro call: A 30-minute chat with our Talent Partner. - HM interview: A 30-minute conversation with the Hiring Manager. - Portfolio conversation: A deep dive with a Product Designer and Engineering/Product partners. - Real-time app critique or final session with our Chief Technical Product Officer. About Your Application - Submit your application in English. - Our talent team reads every application to ensure a fair process. - Diversity drives us; we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply. - If you have accessibility requirements, email belonging@pleo.io. - Your personal data is processed as a data processor. - If applying for multiple roles, we assess each role independently. - If reapplying for the same role, please wait six months from your last decision.

About Pleo Messy spend management is tricky business. And tedious processes are a lose-lose situation for all involved, not just finance. At Pleo, we're changing that. We build spend solutions that make managing money seamless, empowering, and surprisingly effective for finance teams and employees alike - with a vision to help all businesses ‘go beyond’. The word ‘Pleo’ actually means ‘more than you’d expect’, and living by that mantra has been the secret to our success over the last 10 years. Now, we’re at a pivotal moment in our journey; every move we make has a direct impact on our 40,000+ customers, our business, and our collective success. We need people who take pride in uncovering customer needs, who turn complex problems into simple solutions, challenge the way things are done (respectfully), and always aim high. With great ambitions driving us forward, we can’t say we’ve got this whole thing figured out. And frankly, that’s half the fun! What we can say is that we’re a driven, progressive, and, importantly, a kind bunch of 850+ people from over 100 nationalities, all committed to delivering the future of business spending, together. About the role We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our Critical Data Products (CDP) team at Pleo. This team is pivotal in delivering and enhancing high-quality, robust data solutions that underpin Pleo’s essential data-driven products and operations. You will focus on building and refining the data models, semantic layers, and data structures that are the backbone of business critical data pipelines. This role is ideal for someone who loves translating complex requirements into clean and scalable models, and who wants to work in a fast-paced, product-led environment where data is core to decision-making. Who you’ll be working with You'll be reporting to the Manager of the CDP team which sits within the Product Hub in the Data department. The CDP team include members from Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and Analytics Engineering, all working together to support a wide scope across KYC/Compliance, FinCrime, Credit, Card/Banking Infrastructure, Regulatory Reporting and product teams across Pleo. The team delivers critical data pipelines, dashboards, reporting, strategic insights and data enablement guidance within this scope. Our team values trust, reliability, business understanding, alignment, and proactivity. We build strong relationships with our stakeholders, provide reliable data products, stay on top of strategic priorities, and proactively bring insights that drive impact. What you’ll be doing - Build and maintain business-critical data models in dbt that power credit, payments, and fraud/AML reporting and decision-making. - Partner closely with stakeholders, Data Engineers and Data Analysts to align on requirements, ownership, and success criteria. - Contribute to our semantic layer (LookML) to enable consistent and scalable reporting as well as self-serve exploration. - Own and improve data quality through testing, documentation, monitoring, and proactive issue detection (including working with orchestration where needed, e.g. Airflow/Astronomer). - Contribute to shared analytics engineering ways of working: code reviews, standards, reusable patterns, and reducing technical debt. What you bring - Solid experience working with dbt and modern cloud data warehouses like BigQuery. - Strong SQL skills and experience building well-structured, reusable models in a layered architecture. - Ability to translate messy or ambiguous business logic into clean, performant data transformations. - Familiarity with Git-based workflows, version control, and basic CI/CD practices for analytics code. - A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for your work, pragmatic problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. Why is this role a good fit for you This role is for you if: - You are comfortable working following high engineering and data platform standards (e.g. CI/CD, code reviews, PRs, established data governance…). - You are excited to partner closely with non-technical business domain experts and to learn from senior colleagues from many data disciplines. - You want to deepen your knowledge and expertise in the areas of payments, credit, and fraud/AML. This role may not be for you if: - You want to go deep in one domain for a long time. As an AE in the CDP team, you will be supporting multiple domains and shared definitions, which can mean a lot of context switching. - You prefer lower-stakes analytics work. The CDP team works on business critical (credit, payments, fraud/AML) matters, so reliability and operational discipline are a bigger part of the job. - You find it difficult to proactively engage with colleagues outside of the Data world. How you’ll develop in this role In your first few months at Pleo, you will: - Dive deeper into at least one of our business-critical domains (Credit, Payments, Fraud/AML) and learn the reliability expectations around those pipelines and models. - Grow your career in a supportive culture where you'll gain cross-functional insights from our team including Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Analytics Engineers, as well as from business stakeholders. - Expand your impact by enabling analysts and stakeholders to work more effectively with trusted, well-documented data. We’re committed to helping you develop your career, whether that means taking on bigger projects, stepping into leadership, or acquiring new skills in data and analytics. The location The role can be based in Denmark, Portugal, Spain or the UK. We can hire either remotely, hybrid or in office but you need to be physically based in any of those countries. Please note we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role in any of the listed locations you find in the job info so you will need to have a valid right to work. We’re happy to share more about our approach to pay and this range during your first call with us! Show me the benefits - Your own Pleo card (no more out-of-pocket spending!) - Lunch is on us for your work days - enjoy catered meals or receive a lunch allowance based on your local office - Comprehensive private healthcare - depending on your location, coverage options include Vitality, Alan or Médis - We offer 25 days of holiday + your public holidays - For our Team, we offer both hybrid and fully remote working options - Option to purchase 5 additional days of holiday through a salary sacrifice - We use MyndUp to give our employees access to free mental health and well-being support with great success so far - Paid parental leave - we want to make sure that we're supportive of families and help you feel that you don't have to compromise your family due to work The Interview Process - Intro call: A 30-minutes chat with our Talent Partner to discuss the role and your background. - A SQL coding exercise you complete via our secure coding platform - A Hiring Manager interview: A 60-minutes meeting with the team manager to deep dive into your technical experience, domain knowledge and project experience. - A Team interview: a 60-minutes interview with the team where we’ll deep dive into your analytical approach and business domain knowledge. Transparency is important to us so we also wanted to share some insights about what we’re looking for in applications to ensure you can set yourself up for success! Last time we hired an Analytics Engineer, we received a total of 268 applications but only 8 were selected for an intro call. Some of the key reasons why previous candidates didn’t make it past the application screening stage include: - We receive a lot of CVs, and many of them are AI-generated. We love seeing people leverage AI—it’s a big focus for us internally too—but without human intervention, these CVs can sometimes become generic and fail to show a candidate in the best light. What we're really looking for is the specific details of real impact that only you—not AI—know from your previous experience. A top tip from us is to use the “Achieved X, as measured by Y, by doing Z” formula (credit: Laszlo Bock, ~2014) to give a really clear picture of what you’ve worked on. A final note: including links to your previous companies' websites is a huge help and allows us to truly understand your background. - Every single application we receive is reviewed by a human (yes, hundreds of them) because we believe that candidates' efforts should be matched by an equal level of human care. This means that we expect a similar level of attention put into your application. Read and answer the application questions carefully, they make a huge difference in our decision-making process. - Profile to role fit: there was misunderstanding about the type of experience we expect from an Analytics Engineer and we received many applications from candidates who had never been exposed to a product-led environment or had been exclusively focused on SQL/dbt work when we’re looking for both technical and stakeholders management, as well as team collaboration experience. We’ve taken great care in writing this role description to reflect the reality of the job as best as possible, please ensure you read it carefully and highlight on your CV the experience relevant to what we are looking for. About your application - English first. Since it's our company language, please submit your application in English. You’ll be using it a lot if you join us. - A fair look for everyone. Our talent team reads every single application to ensure the process is fair. To keep things running smoothly, we only accept applications through our system—our support team can’t pass on calls or emails. - Diversity drives us. We can only reach our goals if our team reflects the world around us. That starts with you hitting apply, even if you don't tick every single box. We encourage people from all backgrounds and experiences to join us. - Interview at your best. We want you to feel comfortable throughout the process. If you have any accessibility requirements or need a specific format, email belonging@pleo.io. We’ll design a process that works for you. - Your data is safe. When you apply, we process your personal data as a data processor. For more information on how Pleo processes personal data, read our Privacy Policy here. - Applying for multiple roles? Nothing is stopping you, and we assess every role independently. However, we do look for alignment, so make sure you can explain why your interest and experience are right for each specific role. - Reapplying. If you’re applying for the same role again, please wait six months from your last decision before hitting submit.

What we can say is that we’re a driven, progressive, and, importantly, a kind bunch of 850+ people from over 100 nationalities, all committed to delivering the future of business spending, together. About the role You will be part of the technical and strategic backbone of our People Technology landscape, helping ensure our systems are aligned, scalable, and genuinely enable how Pleo operates and grows. You’ll translate business needs into thoughtful technical solutions, while continuously improving how our People systems work together across the ecosystem. This is a hands-on technical Senior Individual contributor role. You’ll spend a significant portion of your time designing and building integrations, automations, and services yourself, working directly in our stack (HiBob, Ashby, and supporting platforms) and stakeholders. Much of this work involves connecting systems through APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns. Alongside this, you’ll bring structure and direction: shaping architecture, guiding technical decisions, driving change management, and helping prioritise what we build and why. You’ll work as a close partner to our existing Staff People Tech Engineer, pairing on complex problems, sharing context, and raising the overall bar of the team, leading through collaboration, contribution, context, and technical judgment. A key part of the role is operating across stakeholders: aligning People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Reward, and L&D, bringing clarity to competing needs, and ensuring we prioritise and communicate effectively as we grow. If you’re excited by owning a domain end-to-end, setting direction while staying hands-on, scaling impact, this team and role is for you. Who you'll be working with and reporting to You'll join the People Tech team, part of Pleo's Internal Technology group (People Tech, Tech Ops, and Finance Systems) and you will report to the Director of Internal Technology while working closely with People Operations and stakeholders across the People area. We're a collaborative, forward-thinking team focused on security, scalability, and crafting an exceptional internal experience for every Pleoer. What you'll be doing As a Staff People Systems Engineering you will: - Spend a significant share of your time hands-on: building integrations, automations, and services across our People Tech stack (HiBob, Ashby, Contractbook and supporting platforms) using APIs, Webhooks, TypeScript in an event-driven architecture. - Bring an AI-native mindset: we've already shipped Harriet and we're looking for someone who actively builds with AI tooling to unlock new capabilities - Co-own and evolve the People Tech roadmap, prioritise competing requests, make deliberate build-vs-buy tradeoffs, and clearly communicate what we're doing, what we're not, and why - Partner with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Reward, and L&D: gather requirements, translate business needs into well-scoped technical work, and drive alignment on priorities. Of course, you will also be very good friends with Engineering and Data functions. - Automate and improve core employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, org changes, promotions, compensation updates, contract generation etc. - Strengthen data quality across People systems: ensure clean flows between HiBob (our source of truth) and downstream consumers, maintain schema-first standards, and support accurate reporting inputs - Own incident response and complex troubleshooting across People systems and integrations, with clear communication and follow-through on root causes - Establish pragmatic engineering standards: documentation, integration patterns, playbooks, test coverage, and change management processes - Drive security-first and GDPR-compliant approaches to People data, including working with Okta for identity/access and GCP for infrastructure For context, our current People systems stack includes Hibob, Ashby, Zinc, Peakon, Abacum, Papaya, Remote.com, Docusign, Contractbook and Sana. Our team is also equipped to work with Claude and have Github access to host their services. What you bring - Many years of experience in People Tech / HRIS engineering, internal tools, solutions engineering, or technical systems roles in a People/HR context. - Strong hands-on ability to build reliable integrations and automations between business applications by leveraging APIs, webhooks, scripting, and lightweight custom services. - Experience with HRIS platforms (ideally HiBob or similar) and comfort operating across a SaaS ecosystem using cloud platforms (G’Suite, GCP etc) - Working knowledge of integrating identity/access tooling (e.g. Okta groups and permissions) into business applications. - Proven ability to go from ambiguous stakeholder need to scoped solution to shipped result, end-to-end - Strong system thinking: you can reason about processes at a high level and dive into the technical details - Confidence operating autonomously in ambiguous environments with a bias toward action - Excellent communication: you explain complex technical decisions clearly, write useful documentation, and keep stakeholders aligned - Stakeholder management skills: you build trust, set expectations, and can say "not now" with clarity when tradeoffs demand it - A collaborative, team-first approach. You're joining a small team and need to be comfortable pairing on problems and building trust quickly Why is this role a good fit for you This role is a good fit for you if: - You find it easy to translate technical concepts into language that non-technical stakeholders (from junior to Executive level) can understand. A key part of this role is about explaining systems capabilities, limitations and requirements to scope and implement working solutions for People colleagues. - You enjoy communicating and collaborating with business stakeholders as much as you enjoy spending time writing scripts, code or configuring systems integrations. - You are very organised and can plan, manage, coordinate yours and your team’s workload. You can autonomously divide and assign tasks, and you excel at documenting. In other words, you can act as a Project Manager for your team. - You’re always nerding out about technology and constantly thinking about how you can automate tasks. In other words, writing scripts, building agents or custom services (with the help of Claude!) are things you’ve had previous experience doing. This role is not a good fit for you if: - Your experience has been focused a lot more on People Operations than technical configuration. You will be expected to read technical documentation to understand and assess API capabilities while also configuring webhooks feeds. - Most of your experience has been with legacy HR systems in very big corporate settings. We’re working with a modern People tech stack. This is not a role for an SAP/Workday specialist. - You require very specific and structured instructions to organise your workload. You will have a lot of autonomy in this role and will be expected to plan work for rather big workstreams, balancing day-to-day operations with project work. - You aren’t able to juggle “getting things done” with “designing for scale”. This role requires you to find the right balance between ensuring delivery and configuring/documenting for long-term efficiency. The location Please note: We can hire on a remote, hybrid or in-person set-up in any of the locations listed on the job advert but you will need to be physically based in the country of your choice with a valid right to work. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role in any of the listed locations. Show me the benefits - Your own Pleo card (no more out-of-pocket spending!) - Lunch is on us for your work days - enjoy catered meals or receive a lunch allowance based on your local office 🍜 - Comprehensive private healthcare - depending on your location, coverage options include Vitality, Alan or Médis - We offer 25 days of holiday + your public holidays - For our Team, we offer both hybrid and fully remote working options - Option to purchase 5 additional days of holiday through a salary sacrifice - We use MyndUp to give our employees access to free mental health and well-being support with great success so far ❤️‍🩹 - Paid parental leave - we want to make sure that we're supportive of families and help you feel that you don't have to compromise your family due to work 👶 The interview process We want to ensure you are set-up for success and understand what will be expected of you. If your application is successful, our interview process is as follows: - Intro call: a 30-minute chat with our Talent Partner to discuss the role and your background. - Hiring Manager interview: a 45-60mins experience-based conversation to assess your background and experience fit. - Pleo challenge interview: a 60mins live case study interview with two colleagues to deep dive into job specific skills. - Final interview: a 30-45mins interview with a senior leader covering values and behavioural skills. Transparency is important to us so we also wanted to share some insights about what we’re looking for in applications to ensure you can set yourself up for success! - We receive a lot of CVs, and many of them are AI-generated. We love seeing people leverage AI—it’s a big focus for us internally too—but without human intervention, these CVs can sometimes become generic and fail to show a candidate in the best light. This means that we expect a similar level of attention put into your application. Read and answer the application questions carefully, they make a huge difference in our decision-making process. - We are not looking to hire a software engineer for this role, just as much as we're not looking to hire a project manager or consultant. This is a really unique and very senior role requiring the ability to pick up technical tasks as much as the ability to manage ambiguous business context and stakeholders alignment. We’ve taken great care in writing this role description to reflect the reality of the job as best as possible, please ensure you read it carefully and highlight on your CV the experience relevant to what we are looking for. Messy spend management is tricky business. About the role We’re looking for a Associate Director of Digital Channels to own and scale Pleo’s growth marketing engine to drive efficient customer acquisition, activation, retention and expansion across Pleo’s markets through paid and owned channels. This is a senior leadership role with accountability for paid acquisition, organic growth (SEO/AEO), owned channels and full-funnel performance optimisation. You’ll work in close partnership with Website, Brand, PMM, Sales, RevOps, PLG, Product and other teams. You’ll be accountable for turning strategy into measurable results - building systems, teams, and ways of working that deliver efficient growth today while compounding returns over time and setting Pleo up for long-term success. Who you'll be working with and reporting to You'll report to our VP of Marketing. You will lead an existing team of specialists within the Performance and Organic channels. You’ll also partner with Sales, RevOps, and Product to align our PLG and Sales-led funnels into one cohesive system. What you'll be doing As a Growth Marketing Director, you will - Drive Efficient Customer Acquisition: Own paid channels, SEO/AEO - Collaborate with Product and Web teams to scale marketing site performance, driving high-quality lead generation while maintaining an optimal balance between conversion rates and acquisition costs - Optimise the Full Funnel: Set channel strategy, run experiments, allocate budget based on marginal returns, and ensure acquisition and lifecycle work as one system. - Turn Strategy into Execution: Partner with Brand, PMM, Sales, RevOps, and Product to coordinate launches, improve pipeline quality, and drive revenue impact. - Identify innovations and grow new channel opportunities e.g. affiliate Marketing - Measure What Matters: Define metrics that reflect business impact, move beyond last-click attribution, and use insights to guide investment decisions. - Build the Team: Lead and develop senior marketers, set high standards for execution, and create scalable ways of working. What you bring You'll thrive in this role if you have: - 10+ years in growth or performance marketing roles, ideally in B2B SaaS or fintech - Proven success operating across both PLG (self-serve) and Sales-led (AE/CSM) models - A deep understanding of paid growth channels and a rigorous approach to experimentation - Proven ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels - Experience leading senior teams and influencing cross-functional partners - A background in scaling high-growth companies where you are comfortable with ambiguity Why is this role a good fit for you This role is a good fit for you if: - You enjoy the building phase, creating processes and frameworks where none currently exist - You are a commercial leader who wants direct accountability for a significant portion of the company's budget. - You want the autonomy to reshape a marketing engine in a fast-growing Fintech leader This role is not good for you if: - You prefer working in a siloed environment where Marketing doesn't need to align closely with Product or Sales - You are strictly a brand marketer and prefer not to be held accountable for CAC, LTV or pipeline targets - You prefer a slow moving environment with fixed processes rather than a fast paced, evolving fintech How you'll develop in this role In your first 6-12 months at Pleo, you'll: - Lead the delivery of a data driven growth strategy that defines clear roles and metrics across acquisition and lifecycle - Establish a high performance culture within your team, setting clear KPIs and optimisation cadences - Partner with our VP Marketing and CRO to align growth strategy with our long-term roadmap as a full suite platform Show me the benefits! - 💳 Your own Pleo card (no more out-of-pocket spending!) - 🍜 Lunch is on us for your work days - enjoy catered meals or receive a lunch allowance based on your local office - 🏥 Comprehensive private healthcare - depending on your location, coverage options include Vitality, Alan or Médis - 🌴 We offer 25 days of holiday + your public holidays - 🏖️ Option to purchase 5 additional days of holiday through a salary sacrifice - ❤️‍🩹 We use MyndUp to give our employees access to free mental health and well-being support with great success so far - 👶 Paid parental leave - we want to make sure that we're supportive of families and help you feel that you don't have to compromise your family due to work The interview process We want to ensure you are set-up for success and understand what will be expected of you. If your application is successful, our interview process is as follows: - Intro Call: 30 minutes with our Talent Acquisition Partner - Hiring Manager Interview: A deep dive to discuss your experience building growth engines - Challenge & Team Interview: We will send you a take home test and invite you to present during a 60 minute team interview. This is an opportunity to show us how you would handle the day to day of the role - Final Interview: A final interview with our CEO Transparency is important to us so we also wanted to share some insights about what we’re looking for in applications to ensure you can set yourself up for success! Last time we hired for this role, we received a large number of applications but only a few were selected for an intro call. Some of the key reasons why previous candidates didn’t make it past the application screening stage include: - CV writing and content: it was very clear that many of the CVs we saw were very generic and AI generated. There is no issue with leveraging AI to help with CV writing, there was little indication of what real impact the candidates had in their previous experience. You might have heard of the “Achieved X, as measured by Y, by doing Z” formula (credit Laszlo Bock ~2014), this is a great way to give a clear picture of what you have actually worked on. A link to the company websites of your previous roles is also a huge help! - Application care: every single application we receive is reviewed by a human (yes, hundreds of them) because we believe that candidates' efforts should be matched by an equal level of human care. This means that we expect a similar level of attention put into your application. Read and answer the application questions carefully, they make a huge difference in our decision-making process. - Profile to role fit: highlight most important aspects of the role, points that might get misunderstood, any specific industry requirements etc. About your application English first. Since it's our company language, please submit your application in English. You’ll be using it a lot if you join us. A fair look for everyone. Our talent team reads every single application to ensure the process is fair. To keep things running smoothly, we only accept applications through our system—our support team can’t pass on calls or emails. Diversity drives us. We can only reach our goals if our team reflects the world around us. That starts with you hitting apply, even if you don't tick every single box. We encourage people from all backgrounds and experiences to join us. Interview at your best. We want you to feel comfortable throughout the process. If you have any accessibility requirements or need a specific format, email belonging@pleo.io. We’ll design a process that works for you. Your data is safe. When you apply, we process your personal data as a data processor. For more information on how Pleo processes personal data, read our Privacy Policy here. Applying for multiple roles? Nothing is stopping you, and we assess every role independently. However, we do look for alignment, so make sure you can explain why your interest and experience are right for each specific role. Reapplying. If you’re applying for the same role again, please wait six months from your last decision before hitting submit.

About the role We’re looking for a Senior Channel Partner Manager, DACH to join our growing partnerships team. This is a highly commercial, hands-on role where you will own the strategy and execution of our partner channel in the region. You will take an existing network of partners and help us scale it in a strategic, structured way, while also bringing your entrepreneurial mindset to create new partnerships. You will be expected to drive revenue directly through partners, while building long-term, high-value relationships. This role gives you the freedom to define your own approach and make a visible impact. The role reports directly to the Regional Manager and offers the opportunity to shape the DACH channel strategy from the ground up. Who you’ll be working with and reporting to You will collaborate with senior leadership and teams across Sales, Partner Marketing, and Product. Our team is fast-moving, highly collaborative, and focused on driving measurable commercial impact. You will have the freedom to define your approach, supported by colleagues who share insights and best practices across markets. What you’ll be doing As Senior Channel Partner Manager, DACH, you will: - Own the end-to-end partner channel strategy for the DACH region, including planning, execution, and measurement - Build and manage relationships with existing partners, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and scale collaboration - Identify and engage new channel partners across fintech, accounting, consulting, and technology ecosystems - Develop joint propositions, co-marketing campaigns, and go-to-market plans with partners - Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure partnerships deliver measurable pipeline and revenue - Use data and insights to optimise partner performance and build a scalable channel model - Represent Pleo at partner events, conferences, and within the wider fintech ecosystem What you bring You’ll thrive in this role if you have: - 5+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or alliances within SaaS, fintech, or B2B technology - A strong commercial drive and proven track record of hitting sales targets through partners - A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach - Experience building and scaling partner programs to deliver measurable revenue impact - Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills - Ability to clearly articulate joint value propositions and close deals with partners - Structured, independent approach and enjoys designing your own playbook - Fluency in German and strong in English, both writing and speaking - Willingness to travel up to 30% across the region Nice to have: - Experience working with accounting and consulting firms - Familiarity with channel-led growth models and ecosystem partnerships Why is this role a good fit for you This role is a good fit for you if: - You are a hunter at heart: you thrive on driving new business and enjoy the challenge of converting partners into active revenue generators rather than just maintaining existing relationships - You have experience in the SMB / Mid Market space and understand that success in this role comes from high-velocity activity and managing a large numbers of smaller deal sizes - You already speak the language of accounting firms, consulting practices, and SMB finance ecosystems This role is not a good fit for you if: - You are used to managing 2-3 massive global alliances with multi-year sales cycles, the high-volume nature of the Pleo partner channel may feel too fast-paced. - You prefer a purely relationship management and long term strategic nurturing without a direct sales/quota target, this "hunter" shift will not align with your goals. - You require a set-in-stone manual on "how we've always done it", you might find the entrepreneurial nature of this role frustrating How you’ll develop in this role In your first 6 months, you will: - Map and prioritise the DACH partner landscape - Take ownership of key existing partner relationships - Drive new partnership conversations that create tangible revenue impact - Launch co-marketing and go-to-market initiatives to activate partners - Build a scalable, repeatable playbook for partner success in the region Your growth is important – whether expanding your scope, leading larger strategic initiatives, or moving into a broader leadership role, Pleo supports your career development. Show me the benefits! - 💳 Your own Pleo card (no more out-of-pocket spending!) - 🍜 Lunch is on us for your work days - enjoy catered meals or receive a lunch allowance based on your local office - 🌴 We offer 28 days of holiday + your public holidays - 🏠 For our Team, we offer both hybrid and fully remote working options - 🏖️ Option to purchase 5 additional days of holiday through a salary sacrifice - ❤️‍🩹 We use MyndUp to give our employees access to free mental health and well-being support with great success so far - 👶 Paid parental leave - we want to make sure that we're supportive of families and help you feel that you don't have to compromise your family due to work The interview process We want to ensure you are set-up for success and understand what will be expected of you. You will help set technical direction for Pleo's AI platform, the shared infrastructure that enables product teams across the company to build AI-powered features reliably and at scale. What GenAI Core does GenAI Core owns and operates Pleo's AI platform infrastructure. We are the team that makes it possible for every other product team at Pleo to build AI-powered features, reliably, observably, and without reinventing the wheel. That means: - LLM routing and access: a centralised LLM proxy layer (LiteLLM) that routes requests to different model providers (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Gemini), with budget enforcement and rate limiting - Observability and evaluation: integrations and tooling (BrainTrust) to monitor, log, and evaluate LLM calls in production, supporting both automated evaluation and human review - Platform standards and guidance: we define how AI is done at Pleo, providing patterns, contracts, and shared components that product teams build on - Internal consulting: as product teams across Pleo adopt AI capabilities, GenAI Core will increasingly act as a technical partner, helping teams design and implement AI features correctly on top of the platform This is software engineering work. You should expect to be coding a meaningful part of the time. You’ll bring solid experience with - Designing and maintaining backend systems with strong requirements for reliability and observability - Building and operating a shared platform or infrastructure components used by multiple teams - Distributed systems fundamentals, including async workflows, idempotency, consistency, and designing for failure - API design, clear service boundaries, and integrating with external systems in a maintainable way - Observability and owning systems in production, including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post-mortems - Strong testing practices and a high quality mindset - Clear communication and pragmatic decision-making across teams and stakeholders Nice to have - Hands-on experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or similar) in a production system - Familiarity with LLM evaluation patterns such as LLM-as-judge, vector similarity, and sampling strategies - Experience building or operating proxy or routing layers for AI workloads Your colleagues would say you - Lead by example and raise the bar with pragmatism and care - Communicate clearly, listen well, and bring people along in decisions - Enjoy breaking down complex problems, gathering input, and driving to a solution - Coach and mentor others and create space for people to grow - Prefer progress over perfection, while still caring deeply about quality Show me the benefits! - Your own Pleo card (no more out-of-pocket spending!) - Lunch is on us for your work days - enjoy catered meals or receive a lunch allowance based on your local office 🍜 - Comprehensive private healthcare - depending on your location, coverage options include Vitality, Alan or Médis - We offer 25 days of holiday + your public holidays - For our Team, we offer both hybrid and fully remote working options - Option to purchase 5 additional days of holiday through a salary sacrifice - We use MyndUp to give our employees access to free mental health and well-being support with great success so far ❤️‍🩹 - Paid parental leave - we want to make sure that we're supportive of families and help you feel that you don't have to compromise your family due to work 👶 About your application English first.
