• Execute permitting work for assigned projects from intake through approval, including application preparation, supporting exhibits, and submittal packaging. • Confirm permit scope, required inputs, dependencies, and target timelines with the Project Manager and internal teams. • Prepare and submit permit applications for local, state, and federal jurisdictions as assigned, following agency requirements and client standards. • Track permit status, approvals, conditions, and expirations; document requirements, constraints, and next steps and communicate impacts to the project team. • Support permit condition tracking and assigned post-approval obligations, including required reporting, notifications, and closeout documentation. • Coordinate with agencies to confirm procedures, timelines, and documentation requirements; document communications and outcomes. • Respond to routine agency questions and deficiency requests; coordinate corrections and resubmittals; escalate higher-risk issues as needed. • Coordinate with clients and internal teams (Project Management, Survey, Engineering, GIS) to obtain required inputs, resolve data gaps, and maintain schedule alignment. • Provide clear and timely status updates to Project Managers and clients, including risks, dependencies, and action items. • Produce accurate, complete permitting deliverables consistent with company standards; apply QA/QC checks prior to submittal. • Maintain organized project records and document control from initial intake through final approval and closeout. • Use and contribute to checklists, templates, and documented processes to reduce rework and improve predictability. • Maintain accurate task lists, due dates, and permit status tracking in department systems; keep permitting timelines current and visible. • Provide recurring updates to the Permitting Supervisor on workload, deadlines, constraints, and risks; support reporting needs as required.
Role Description The CAD Technician is part of a team focused on supporting large scale development programs for major clients within the Energy sector. The CAD Technician utilizes AutoCAD and other software to create a variety of design, permitting, and client specific exhibits and datasets. - Creation and QA/QC for the work of others to produce high quality and accurate exhibits and deliverables. - Completion of assigned drafting tasks within established metrics. - Applying knowledge of permitting regulations to site layout and exhibit creation. - Continual advancement of both drafting and regulatory knowledge. Qualifications - Intermediate level proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D is a plus). - Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). - Intermediate level proficiency knowledge of Oil and Gas Rules and Regulations. - Intermediate level proficiency knowledge of O&G industry equipment and nomenclatures. - High Attention to detail. - Excellent communication and critical thinking skills. - Exceptional customer focus. - Ability to meet deadlines. - Timely Response. - Multi-task and Prioritization skills. - Team oriented. - Collaboration Skills. - Relentlessly accountable. Requirements - High school diploma or GED. - 1+ year of work experience using AutoCAD.
