Qualifications - Proven experience in a senior data leadership role (Head of Data, VP Data, or equivalent) in a fast-paced, data-intensive environment — ideally in healthtech, digital health, or a regulated industry. - Strong technical grounding in data engineering and analytics, with hands-on experience with modern data stacks (e.g. dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Looker, or similar). - Experience building and scaling data teams from an early stage, including hiring, developing, and retaining talent. - Solid understanding of data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR), and information security in a regulated or clinical context. - Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership and board. - Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen — able to connect data capability to business outcomes and fundraising narratives. - Proven ability to operate autonomously in a high-growth startup environment, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on delivery. Requirements - Experience working with clinical or patient-level data, including real-world evidence, clinical outcomes data, or NHS datasets. - Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g. HL7, FHIR) or NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit requirements. - Experience contributing to Series A/B fundraising processes, including preparing data rooms and investor-facing analytics. - Background in applying machine learning or AI within a product or clinical context. Benefits - 30 days of annual leave per year, in addition to UK statutory and public holidays. - 3 days paid annually to volunteer with a charity or community group of your choice. - Access to the YuLife wellbeing app. - Company laptop and any additional equipment required for the role. - Access to Perci's pension scheme. - Income protection cover. - Enhanced company sick pay. - Enhanced maternity and adoption pay (primary carer): 20 weeks at full pay, 16 weeks at 25%. - Enhanced paternity and adoption pay (secondary carer): 6 weeks at full pay, followed by 6 weeks at 50% of pay. - Access to over 400 co-working spaces across the UK. - Remote first working, supporting genuine work-life balance. - Employee Share Option Incentivisation.
