In this role, you’ll go beyond the limits of our in-house software by manually editing and refining PDFs to reflect unique customer requirements, working closely with a hybrid team based in Vancouver, Toronto, and Gaspé. This is not a sales role and involves no cold calling or HVAC system design—instead, it’s a customer-focused position where your attention to detail, organization, and ability to think outside the box will make a real impact. Key Responsibilities - HVAC System Optimization & Technical Support: - Analyze project requirements and prepare documentation, calculations, and performance data using various software tools. - Apply HVAC design principles to real-world customer projects. - Support the development and optimization of HVAC solutions using psychrometric charts and ASHRAE standards. - Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration: - Work closely with customers to recommend suitable products, features, and accessories for their projects. - Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, including Sales, Production, and Applications. - Provide timely and accurate technical support to ensure smooth project execution. - Product Knowledge & Communication: - Develop a strong understanding of Oxygen8 products and clearly explain technical concepts to customers. - Stay up to date on product changes and updates and share accurate information with customers and internal teams. - Prepare clear and well-structured technical documents for customers and internal stakeholders. - Process Improvement & Industry Engagement: - Create, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Represent Oxygen8 at industry events, trade shows, or webinars as needed. - Support continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and documentation. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience working in the HVAC industry. - Strong knowledge of psychrometric chart and ASHRAE standards, and DOAS units. - Ability to apply technical knowledge to practical, customer-facing solutions. Annual Salary $65,000 to $75,000 based on experience. Location This position is open to remote candidates. Role Description The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and growing Oxygen8’s indirect sales activities within an assigned territory. This role focuses on driving regional revenue and profitability by managing independent sales representatives, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, and expanding Oxygen8’s presence across priority markets. The primary focus for this role is the Northeast region of North America. This position is remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in the Toronto or Montreal areas. Travel within Canada and the U.S. is expected at approximately 50%. Key Responsibilities - Regional Sales Leadership - Lead sales performance for the assigned region to achieve short‑ and long‑term revenue and profit targets - Support company sales goals and contribute to overall business growth - Monitor regional performance and adjust strategies to maintain profitable growth - Channel & Rep Management - Lead, support, and develop independent sales representatives across the territory - Collaborate with reps to create annual business plans and review progress quarterly - Work with the CEO, Sales Director, and Sales Operations Manager to align on channel strategy and ensure strong partner performance - Business Development & Market Growth - Build and maintain strong relationships with specifying engineers, developers, and key decision‑makers - Influence system selection and project specifications by clearly communicating Oxygen8’s value proposition - Develop and execute business development strategies focused on key vertical markets, including: - K‑12 and post‑secondary education - Senior care facilities - Office buildings - Multi‑unit residential projects - Technical & Product Engagement - Serve as a regional subject matter expert, providing application knowledge and technical support - Deliver educational presentations, webinars, and design meetings to position Oxygen8 solutions as basis‑of‑design - Communicate customer feedback and regional needs to Management and Engineering teams to support product improvements - Collaboration, Reporting & CRM - Use Salesforce (CRM) to track opportunities, activities, and customer information - Provide regular sales pipeline and customer management reports - Work with the Marketing team to support local events, trade shows, seminars, and training sessions - Assist with product selection guidance, pricing support, and coordination with production teams Qualifications - 5–7 years of experience in Sales, Applications Engineering, or Product Management within the HVAC industry - Experience working with independent rep channels - Strong understanding of ventilation and dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS), including: - Psychrometric principles - Controls - Heat exchanger applications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) Requirements - Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills - Experience with formal sales methodologies - Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to work independently - Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining responsive to customer needs - Willingness to learn and contribute in a dynamic, fast‑paced team environment - Ability to work effectively across different regions and with culturally diverse groups Additional Requirements / Assets - Ability and willingness to travel within Canada and the United States (approximately 50%) - Availability to travel for business and work beyond normal business hours when required - French language proficiency is considered an asset Benefits - Company Team Building Events - Employee Stock Option Plan - Health and Dental Benefit Coverage from day 1 - 3 Weeks Paid Vacation - Paid Volunteer Day - Personal Development and Training Opportunities Annual Salary $100,000 to $140,000 total compensation, including bonus Location This position is open to remote candidates.
