Role Description We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for one of our operating companies to serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders. In this role, you will partner closely with executive and functional leadership to align people strategies with business objectives, drive organizational effectiveness, and champion a high-performance culture. This is a highly visible, influential role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Compensation: $140-150k plus bonus Key Responsibilities - Strategic Partnership - Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leaders across assigned business units, translating business goals into actionable people strategies. - Provide expert counsel on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management. - Proactively identify trends and root causes impacting employee engagement, retention, and performance, and develop solutions accordingly. - Talent & Organizational Development - Lead and support end-to-end talent review processes, including identification of high-potential employees and development planning. - Partner with Learning & Development to design and implement programs that build leadership capability and bench strength. - Drive change management efforts in support of organizational transformations, restructuring, and culture initiatives. - Employee Relations & Compliance - Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant resolution. - Ensure HR policies and practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. - Partner with Legal and Compliance teams on sensitive matters as needed. - Performance & Compensation - Coach leaders on performance management best practices, including goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement. - Collaborate with Total Rewards to ensure compensation and benefits programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business needs. - Data & Insights - Leverage HR analytics and people data to inform decisions, measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, and present insights to senior leadership. - Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR Managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. - Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert within the broader HR function. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a senior HRBP or HR leadership role. - Demonstrated experience partnering with VP- and C-suite-level leaders. - Deep knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational effectiveness principles. - Proven track record of driving talent and culture initiatives at scale. - Strong executive presence with excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills. - High proficiency in data analysis and HR reporting; experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Paylocity, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors). Preferred - Master's degree in HR, Business, or a related field. - SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification. - Experience in a matrixed, global, or high-growth organization. - Background in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci).

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Marketing Associate is responsible for building a brand that business owners actively choose when considering a long-term partnership. This role sits at the center of brand, content, and demand generation across Orion and its platform companies, helping ensure that qualified business owners know who we are, understand what we stand for, and associate our brands with trust, partnership, and permanence. You will shape messaging, develop content, support new growth channels, and help position our brands as first-call partners in our industries. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role for someone who combines strong storytelling instincts with operational rigor. You’ll work across content, web, events, and analytics—launching new initiatives, supporting live and digital experiences, improving conversion, and turning data into insight. Success looks like consistent inbound deal growth, strong engagement with owners and partners, and tight alignment with leadership and the Investing team. The ideal candidate has high standards, sharp judgment, and a bias toward ownership and follow-through. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and evolve messaging that resonates with business owners across multiple industries, supporting Orion’s sourcing and relationship-building efforts Translate Orion’s investment thesis and value proposition into clear, compelling narratives tailored to different audiences and platforms Partner closely with the sourcing team to support outbound and inbound go-to-market efforts, including founder outreach and market positioning Build and enhance Orion’s brand, helping define how we show up to founders, intermediaries, and industry partners Own and refine messaging across channels (e.g., LinkedIn, email, presentations, and other digital touchpoints), using engagement and feedback to iterate Support and coordinate Orion’s presence at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events, including messaging, materials, and follow-up Identify opportunities to strengthen brand visibility and credibility in the market through creative storytelling and thoughtful execution Operate comfortably in an ambiguous environment, taking ownership of initiatives and driving them forward with minimal direction QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE · Partnership: we care about, respect, and learn from one another. · All-In: we are committed to being the best and find fulfillment in the hard work excellence demands. · Pursuit of Quality: we take pride in doing things well and pursuing excellence. COMPENSATION: We believe in rewarding our talent with a competitive compensation package and benefits that reflect our commitment to our people. The total compensation (“all-in” comp, including salary and on-target bonus) will range from $120,000-$140,000 depending on experience. LOCATION: This New York-based role will primarily require 4–5 days per week in the office, with some flexibility to work from home.
