We're one of the fastest growing Shopify Retention Agencies in the space and brands love us. - Build flawless setup for campaigns, flows, and pop-ups in Klaviyo (both full-image-based and hybrids). - Seamlessly integrate with Shopify and other Retention Marketing tools for our partners. • Build and maintain lead lists from ICP criteria across tiers 1–3 • Run multichannel outbound sequences on email, LinkedIn, and phone (optional) • Personalise outreach at scale without losing quality • Continuously test and optimise messaging and sequence performance • Monitor post engagement and capitalise on warm interest in real time • Manage Rammins’ LinkedIn DMs, qualify conversations, build rapport, book calls • Identify and engage with ICP prospects through comments and connection requests • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against ICP criteria • Book discovery calls and brief the founder before each one • Maintain CRM hygiene, every conversation tracked and up to date • Hand off cleanly to founder at the right moment • Deliver weekly report on outbound activities, reply rates, meetings booked, pipeline value generated

• Own and execute the marketing plan across all active channels • Manage the content calendar and ensure consistent output • Align marketing activity with sales priorities and ICP targeting • Produce and publish LinkedIn content in the founder's voice • Write and send the newsletter • Manage case study production, gather client stories, write, publish • Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints • Run outbound campaign support alongside the SDR • Manage LinkedIn organic growth and engagement strategy • Identify and test new lead generation channels • Coordinate SaaS partnerships and referral programme activity • Identify guest content, podcast, and community opportunities • Manage event and webinar execution when relevant • Deliver weekly report on leads generated, content performance, channels ROI

The role Own service delivery excellence as we scale to our next stage, while keeping the boutique, personal touch that makes OKTOBER different. You'll lead up to 5 Senior Retention Managers and a Creative Lead, to ensure every brand gets why they came to us. This is a behind-the-scenes leadership role. You're not the main-face to clients, you're the person making sure we deliver work we're all proud of. What you’ll own Team leadership & development (50%) - Lead 4 Senior Retention Managers (pod leads) + 1 Creative Lead - Weekly 1-on-1s focused on growth, performance, and impact - Coach Senior RMs on complex retention strategies - Hire and develop 15+ people this year - Build career paths that keep top talent - Fast, direct feedback when standards aren't met Service quality & results (30%) - Spot-check quality regularly across all accounts - Step into any account when needed, you can take over if a Senior RM is stuck - Oversight on new client onboarding (not hands-on, but ensuring it's done right) - Flag underperformance early, work with Senior RMs to course-correct - Join strategic work on key accounts - Handle escalations with calm and clarity Strategic oversight (20%) - Own the "OKTOBER Way of Working" (how we do our work) - Partner with Operations Lead on systems and training - Own metrics: client retention rate, NPS, referrals - Weekly sync with founder on team health and results - Escalate big issues, handle the rest autonomously - Some client touchpoints: key account QBRs, onboarding clients, escalations About You - Deep retention/email/lifecycle marketing expertise (you're elite at this) - Managed teams before (20+ people) - Managed managers (Senior RMs need a leader, not a peer) - Scaled through rapid growth (been part of a team that doubled) - Agency experience required (you understand utilization, profitability, client dynamics) You're obsessed with results - You can audit any retention account and immediately see what's working, what's broken, and what's missing - You know great retention strategy when you see it, and you can teach it - You hold the bar high without being a perfectionist - You spot trends before they become problems You're a natural coach - You develop Senior RMs through questions, not orders - You give direct, clear feedback without ego - You make people better, not smaller - Fast to intervene when someone's not meeting standards, but always human about it You're open and adaptable - You can take feedback as easily as you give it - Low ego, high ownership - You observe before changing things - You trust your team until they give you a reason not to - CET timezone, able to meet quarterly in Europe The set-up - Salary that matches experience and impact - 20 days PTO + local holidays - Remote-first with Amsterdam office - Autonomy once trust is earned - Work directly with founder - Start May/June 2026 Not a fit - Can't evaluate retention strategy at an elite level - Haven't led teams through growth - High ego or non-empathetic style - Need to be client-facing (this is behind-the-scenes leadership) - Can't work CET timezone or meet quarterly in Europe Succes metrics - Client retention rate (high bar, tracked quarterly) - New business through referrals (proof clients love the work) - NPS scores (are we delivering the boutique experience?) - Team performance (Senior RMs growing, RMs executing well)

• Own the full hiring pipeline — reviewing applications daily, running screening calls, and keeping things moving fast • Fill the pipeline yourself — sourcing via LinkedIn (manual and automated), outbound outreach via Lemlist, job ads, AI sourcing tools • Handle pre-onboarding and new starter check-ins so every hire lands well from day one • Build and run our performance review process (quarterly and annual) with leadership • Write and own job descriptions, working closely with department heads and the team to get them right • Shape culture and L&D — from bi-annual meetups planning and hosting to the programmes that help our team grow and stay connected

• Design emails and pop-ups for e-commerce brands (incl. gifs & animations) • Develop Email Design Systems to ensure consistent output • Own deadlines and ensure nothing slips through the cracks • Pro-actively look for design directions/inspiration • Help our design team work smarter and better

• Own results & relationship for 4 Shopify brands doing over 5M/y • Write your own copy and work with our strong design team to make it bang • Grow our collective knowledge by sharing tools, frameworks and ways of thinking

• Own end-to-end email and pop-up design for 4–6 complex client accounts (gifs, animations, advanced UI) • Lead design innovation and contribute to agency-wide design systems and standards • Provide informal art direction to junior designers and represent design in pod planning and client pitches

• Own results and relationships for 4–5 high-value Shopify brands (5M+/year), handling the most complex strategic challenges • Develop advanced retention strategies and playbooks — writing your own copy and directing creative to make it bang • Mentor specialists on the team, contribute to process improvements, and represent OKTOBER in complex client negotiations
