Role Description The Market Sales Representative is responsible for the execution of chain and trade marketing programs at the store level for an assigned market. As a brewery field sales representative, the MSR is expected to be an authority on product knowledge, brand positioning, and programming in the marketplace. - Execute chain activity in territory. - Grow brands and SKUs in key accounts. - Build relationships with wholesaler representatives. - Drive trade market execution and promote and educate market with brands. - Be a self-starter and field leader to drive results in the on and off premise. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred. - 1-2 years of experience in sales or marketing. - 1-2 years in the alcohol beverage industry preferred. - Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. - Must hold a valid driver’s license without any alcohol-related offenses. - Must be able to drive long distances regularly, including weekly travel throughout Central New York. - Geographic mobility is a plus! Requirements - Must be able to lift 35 lb. cases, 165 lb. kegs, and various point-of-sale boxes on a regular basis. - Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. - Communicating with others to exchange information. - Operating motor vehicle or heavy equipment. - Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
