Role Description We are looking for a motivated Express Claims Advocate with a focus on Commercial General Liability handling lower complexity, fast resolving claims. You will join a team of experienced claims professionals and will investigate and resolve general liability claims within your authority to provide the best possible claim outcome and employ best efforts to ensure that the customers’ interests are protected while adhering to our claims philosophy and policies. - Manage, investigate, and resolve commercial general liability property damage claims to include evaluating coverage, liability, damages, and settle claims within prescribed authority levels. - Recommend ultimate resolution on assigned cases in excess of their authority to local claims management. - Evaluate insurance coverage based on claim report, the insurance policy, the investigation, and applicable statutes and case law to determine if a claim can be accepted as being within coverage. - Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants in order to gather information regarding claims, refer tasks to auxiliary resources as necessary, and advise as to proper course of action. - Respond to various written and telephone inquiries including status reports. - Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements of all applicable jurisdictions and meet detailed quality assurance standards and set goals of performance. - Strong customer service skills as demonstrated in listening and the ability to show empathy. - Effectively manage a high volume of claims with various complexity while meeting our quality and performance goals. Qualifications - At least 2+ years of claims handling experience including coverage and liability or relevant experience. - Strong written and oral communication skills required as well as strong interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills. - Mac literate, including Google and Microsoft. - The capabilities, skills and knowledge required is normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree. - Candidates must have, or be able to promptly obtain a Texas Independent Adjuster License. What You’ll Do: - Create and execute the overall marketing and advertising strategy for the agent channel. - Partner with the insurance team on new product and sector launches. - Work with the marketing teams of our Top 50 national brokers, agency group partners, and wholesalers (where allowed) to create and deliver co-sponsored marketing campaigns. - Develop performance marketing processes to analyze success of campaigns. - Create and oversee the marketing budget for the agent channel. - Manage and oversee key personnel such as marketing managers, copywriters, graphic designers, and other stakeholders that drive growth in the agent channel. - Provide OKR management, creative direction, creating content or briefs, final approvals, and implementation. - Manage our convention exhibitor strategy, organizing calendar, logistics, swag purchasing, and more. - Oversee and manage external advertising strategy, including analyzing results, creating ad copy and assets, collaborating with the Google and Bing SEM teams, and more. - Create marketing assets for the sales team, including training presentations, flyers, promo videos, and more. - Oversee our incentive programs, gifts, and promotional gifting. - Collaborate with PR and social media team for external communications. - Collaborate with other key stakeholders such as product, sectors, and IPM to align their release efforts with our communication and marketing strategy. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience of marketing to independent agents. - Understand how to drive performance marketing campaigns - tracking the success of what we deliver. - Experience managing direct reports and cross-functional partners. - 5+ years of experience managing or overseeing SEM campaigns. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Accounting Manager to join our accounting team. This role will be responsible for the financial accounting of our workers' compensation program, with a primary focus on premium and losses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance accounting and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with our finance and claims teams, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements. In addition to managing the workers' compensation portfolio, you will have the opportunity to learn and assist with other insurance-related accounting tasks. What You’ll Do: Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes for workers' compensation premium and losses. Prepare and analyze journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements related to insurance accounts, including control documentation. Utilize Tableau to create premium and loss bordereaux for reinsurance partners Work collaboratively with the claims and actuarial teams to ensure accurate loss data. Reconcile premium receipts with Stripe/Braintree and loss activity with third-party administrator (Sedgwick). Provide detailed analysis of variances and trends in premium and loss accounts. Assist with budgeting and forecasting for insurance-related expenses. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations for insurance accounts. Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency within the insurance accounting function. Willingness to learn and assist with other insurance accounting areas, such as premiums and losses related to property and general liability as needed. What We Need: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in insurance accounting. Strong working knowledge of premium and loss accounting is required. Understanding of workers' compensation accounting is a plus. Proficiency with financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. CPA designation is a plus. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
