Role Description You will join a global SAP S/4HANA program focused on the transition from SAP WM to SAP EWM across manufacturing facilities in the Czech Republic. The project is currently entering a critical design phase, where future warehouse management processes, handling unit concepts, warehouse automation requirements, and implementation roadmaps will be defined. As the SAP IT Project Manager, you will lead the design phase together with business stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business transformation goals, SAP standardization strategy, and enterprise architecture. You will be responsible for driving project planning, governance, stakeholder coordination, and preparation of the future implementation roadmap. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale international SAP transformation initiative within a global manufacturing organization. Responsibilities - Lead the SAP design phase together with the Business Project Manager - Own project planning, scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management - Coordinate and facilitate design workshops with business stakeholders and solution architects - Drive alignment across manufacturing, finance, and IT teams - Manage external partners and internal stakeholders - Ensure effective governance and cross-functional decision-making - Define implementation roadmaps and project delivery plans - Maintain project documentation, decision logs, and governance records - Ensure architecture decisions are documented and aligned with global SAP strategy - Support business case preparation and future project planning - Prepare the organization for subsequent implementation phases Qualifications - Strong experience managing SAP S/4HANA transformation projects - Deep understanding of SAP Activate methodology - Experience with SAP EWM implementations and warehouse transformation programs - Previous experience in manufacturing or factory environments - Experience leading Fit-to-Standard and Explore phase workshops - Proven track record delivering SAP projects for global organizations - Experience with implementation roadmap definition and business case preparation - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - Excellent analytical and documentation capabilities - Ability to collaborate effectively with business and IT stakeholders - Located in Czechia, Slovakia, or Hungary - Fluent English communication skills Nice to Have - Experience with warehouse automation solutions - Knowledge of SAP EWM MFS - PMI-PMP certification - SAP Activate Project Manager certification Assignment Details - Start: August 2026 - Duration: Until December 2026 with a strong possibility of extension - Allocation: Full-time - Location: Remote with occasional travel to the Czech Republic (2–3 trips during the assignment) - Contract type: B2B / Freelance Why Join Through Nexer? Role Description We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Architect – EWM to join a strategic SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative for one of our international clients in the medical technology industry. In this role, you will: - Lead the design of the future SAP EWM solution as part of a broader digitalization and automation program focused on manufacturing operations in the Czech Republic. - Drive workshops, challenge business requirements, define future-state processes, and establish a scalable WM-to-EWM roadmap aligned with SAP best practices. - Work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to shape the target architecture and ensure alignment with parallel SAP EWM initiatives across multiple countries. Qualifications - Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA EWM from process, configuration, and solution design perspectives. - Strong knowledge of SAP MM and PP integration. - Experience with Handling Units, RF solutions, MFS, warehouse automation, and production integration. - Extensive experience facilitating Fit-to-Standard workshops. - Ability to drive requirement gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - 10+ years of SAP consulting experience. - At least 3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA EWM implementations. - Proven experience delivering EWM solutions in manufacturing or factory environments. - Located in Czechia, Slovakia, or Hungary. - Fluent English communication skills. Requirements - SAP Certified Application Associate – Extended Warehouse Management with SAP S/4HANA (nice to have). - Experience with global SAP transformation programs (nice to have). - Experience in medical device or highly regulated manufacturing environments (nice to have).
