• Own early business development for Japan. • Map relevant customer, partner, and operator opportunities in vending, convenience retail, payments, automation, and self-service commerce. • Build relationships with operators, retailers, technology partners, payment providers, distributors, automation companies, and strategic commercial partners. • Identify pilot opportunities in vending, convenience-style automation, and related unattended retail environments. • Work directly with the founder on local market development, partner strategy, positioning, and customer feedback. • Adapt the company's product narrative for Japanese customers, partners, and technical stakeholders. • Lead local meetings, demos, partner follow-up, and commercial conversations in Japanese. • Translate customer and partner feedback into product, integration, and deployment requirements. • Support planning for pilots, integrations, field testing, support expectations, and local operations. • Help define what the company needs in order to operate credibly in Japan. • Build the foundation for a future Japan team across sales, operations, partnerships, field deployment, and customer success.

• Map the Kenyan agricultural technology, large-farm, drone, robotics, and field automation ecosystem. • Identify potential field-testing partners. • Build relationships with farms, agribusinesses, drone operators, robotics groups, universities, investors, and local technical partners. • Help the company understand practical field conditions, customer needs, regulatory issues, and pilot requirements. • Support pilot planning, partner selection, site visits, and local introductions. • Help evaluate field data collection, machine utilization, maintenance, operator training, and ROI assumptions. • Represent the company locally when appropriate.

• Build backend services for telemetry, device state, events, dashboards, and partner integrations. • Design data models for machines, locations, users, events, status, diagnostics, and operational activity. • Build APIs for edge devices, internal tools, dashboards, and AI workflows. • Implement event ingestion pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and audit logs. • Work with embedded engineers on device-to-cloud protocols. • Work with product and business teams to define the data needed for demos, pilots, and customer reporting. • Support security, reliability, observability, and scalability from the beginning.
