• Take end-to-end ownership of a diverse portfolio of rental vehicle claims across your designated region. • Investigate incidents and determine liability. • Manage complex customer disputes and negotiate recoveries. • Drive claims through to resolution while balancing commercial outcomes with exceptional customer experience. • Assess liability across a range of claim types, including single vehicle incidents, multi-vehicle accidents, theft claims and third-party matters. • Manage disputed claims and support the National Claims Manager with escalated or complex claims matters. • Respond to and manage AFIA complaints and other external dispute resolution matters within required timeframes. • Assist with tribunal-related matters, including preparation of evidence, submissions, and attendance where required. • Provide claims guidance and support to Branch Managers, Fleet Controllers and operational stakeholders.
• Continued ongoing development and implementation of a Preventative Maintenance Program • Ordering of parts and equipment as required • Maintenance of firefighting equipment and safety gear • Engine maintenance and the cleanliness and general condition of the engine room including the emptying of used oil tanks • Maintenance of the pumps, hydraulic equipment, electrical equipment, lighting, and bridge equipment • Checking of voids and steering equipment • Bunkering of fuel and oil as required • Check and action the maintenance logbook • Comply with oil pollution regulations and maintain the oil record book • Comply with all regulations, ISM, codes of conduct and standards • Stand watch unless emergency mechanical and electrical matters need attention • Presentations and Engine room tours for guests • Responsible for the safety orientation of all new crew members as required
• Assist the Engineering team in the maintenance of the ship's electrical equipment • Maintenance of all electrical motors onboard, generators, main switch board and emergency, switchboard • Fire alarm system including fire detectors, general alarm system, PA system, onboard mother vessel and tender boats • AV/IT systems, navigation lights and navigation equipment on mother vessel and tender boats • All batteries fitted on mother vessel and tender boats, air condition system • Rectifying electrical defects recorded in the hotel defect book daily • Responsible for refrigeration system and testing of IAS system as required by Class • Engine room tours and dining with Guests • Maintenance and upkeep of manuals/drawing as required by AMSA and Class
• Own and manage P&C and payroll compliance, driving a strong governance culture across the Group • Implement the P&C Compliance Framework and ensure completion of control assessments and self-assessment reporting • Work closely with the General Manager Industrial Relations, People Operations & Compliance and the Employee Relations team to understand legislation and requirements and ensure P&C policies adhere to legislation • Ensure that P&C processes and systems adhere to legislation and P&C policies, monitoring changes in legislation and updating processes and policies where required • Implement the Payroll Compliance Strategy and Payroll Review Plan • Take end-to-end responsibility for annual payroll risk-based reviews, including payroll data extraction, payroll rule interpretation, variance calculations and remediation • Document agreed payroll rule interpretation in Award/EA rule books and support payroll audit work as required • Promote a culture of payroll compliance, ethical behaviour and accountability across the function • Build strong stakeholder and communication management to foster good relationships across the business • Develop business acumen across NRMA’s core business and actively participate in internal team development activities
