Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred - Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance roles within a manufacturing or production environment - Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001, QS, IATF or equivalent - Proficiency in using quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, Six Sigma, or Lean principles - Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate across departments Requirements - Certification as a Quality Auditor (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor) or Quality Engineer preferred - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and advanced data analysis software - Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the industry, such as FDA, ISO/TS standards, or other compliance frameworks - Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a quality department - Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards and practices Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the quality control team to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures - Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished products to identify defects or deviations - Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for process improvements - Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve quality problems - Train and mentor quality personnel on quality assurance techniques, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance - Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance records, and audit findings - Communicate quality performance and improvement initiatives to management and stakeholders - Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines Skills The Quality Supervisor utilizes strong analytical skills daily to interpret quality data and identify areas for improvement, ensuring products meet stringent standards. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire document lifecycle, including: - Creation - Revision - Distribution - Archiving This supports operational efficiency and quality assurance. The specialist collaborates closely with various departments to implement document control procedures and ensure that all documentation meets company policies and industry regulations. By maintaining a robust document control system, this role helps mitigate risks associated with document mismanagement and supports audit readiness. Ultimately, the Document Control Specialist ensures that all project and operational documentation is reliable, up-to-date, and readily available to authorized personnel across the organization. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in document control or records management, preferably within a regulated industry. - Proficiency with document management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong understanding of document control standards and regulatory compliance requirements. - Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail. - Experience with Sharepoint preferred. Requirements - Certification in Document Control (e.g., AIIM Certified Information Professional or equivalent). - Experience working in industries such as manufacturing, engineering, construction, or pharmaceuticals. - Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001. - Knowledge of electronic document management systems (EDMS) and workflow automation tools. - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
