Role Description The IT Analyst – Support plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of the organization’s technology environment. As the first point of contact for technical support, this role directly impacts employee productivity by providing timely solutions for software, hardware, and networking issues. Working closely with the IT Support Team Manager and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the IT Analyst delivers responsive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused service that supports the company’s broader goals. This position requires someone who is both innovative in identifying process improvements and supportive in assisting end users with training and troubleshooting. The IT Analyst – Support contributes to a cohesive work environment by ensuring consistent communication, documenting resolutions, and maintaining strong relationships across the organization. At its core, this role is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the company’s technology-driven success. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. - 1-3 years of IT support experience, including telephone and email support for software and hardware issues. - Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and other standard desktop applications. - Knowledge of networking protocols and fundamentals. - Experience with O365 preferred. - Knowledge of VOIP phone systems a plus. - Familiarity with Yardi property management software and/or residential real estate industry experience a plus. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users. - Superior customer service skills with excellent telephone etiquette. Systems Engineer Position Summary The Systems Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s technology infrastructure across the multi-family portfolio, with a primary focus on system reliability, scalability, security, and acquisition readiness. This role is responsible for engineering, implementing, and supporting enterprise technology solutions across cloud, on‑premise, and IoT environments, ensuring systems are standardized, well-integrated, and aligned with operational and business needs. This position requires a highly technical, detail-oriented, and innovative professional who takes ownership of systems, incidents, and initiatives from design through execution. The Systems Engineer works closely with IT pillar teams, security, and internal stakeholders to evaluate technology solutions, improve processes through automation, maintain accurate documentation, and support ongoing infrastructure and cloud operations. The core mission of this role is to maintain and evolve the company’s technology environment in a way that supports business continuity, growth initiatives, and long-term operational efficiency. Essential Duties Systems Engineering & Infrastructure Support - Engineer, implement, and support technology solutions across the multi-family portfolio, including servers, storage, network infrastructure, and IoT systems. - Provide day-to-day operational support for company infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and reliability. - Implement, maintain, and manage system integrations across platforms and environments. - Perform root cause analysis on escalated issues and drive permanent, scalable resolutions. - Resolve Tier 2 incidents and service requests through the company ticketing system in accordance with established SLAs. Cloud & Microsoft Azure Administration - Implement, maintain, and manage Microsoft Azure services and technologies, including Azure AD, Azure AD DS, virtual machines, Intune, and single sign-on (SSO). - Evaluate cloud architecture and services to optimize performance, scalability, and cost. - Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell and other scripting platforms to improve system reliability and operational efficiency. Acquisition & Property Technology Enablement - Perform onsite technology due diligence during property acquisitions, including evaluation of cameras, access control systems, and other IoT devices. - Engineer solutions to onboard acquired systems into the enterprise environment while maintaining security and compatibility. - Provide budgetary estimates for due diligence activities and annual property technology budgets. - Implement assigned technology solutions during the acquisition and onboarding process. Collaboration, Security & Continuous Improvement - Collaborate with IT pillar teams to design, test, and implement scalable systems and future-state solutions. - Partner with the IT security team to ensure appropriate security controls are implemented across all systems and environments. - Evaluate new technology offerings and recommend enhancements or changes to the overall technology landscape. - Develop tools and processes to improve departmental efficiency and reduce manual effort. Documentation, Training & Knowledge Sharing - Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including internal SOPs and system documentation. - Assist in the training and development of IT team members through knowledge sharing and technical support. - Develop and maintain cooperative, positive working relationships with employees across the organization.
