• Perform Interconnection feasibility studies for new generation, storage, demand and transmission projects. • Optimize the size and location of new generation, storage, demand and transmission projects. • Prepare interconnection applications for new generation, storage, demand and transmission projects including development of power flow, dynamic and short circuit study models. • Guide generation, storage, demand and transmission interconnection applications through the full interconnection study process. • Interface with the host transmission operator throughout the interconnection study process and review and scrutinize their interconnection study reports. • Perform general power system studies.

• Maintain a deep understanding of GIS data models supporting electric utility distribution systems. • Network connectivity, asset modeling, and topology configurations. • Experience supporting migrations from geometric network or legacy GIS models to Utility Network. • Ensure GIS data supports OMS requirements including network tracing, switching, and outage prediction. • Maintain data quality, validation rules, and topology integrity. • Assess GIS model readiness for downstream operational systems including OMS and ADMS. • Define modeling standards and best practices to support scalable integration. • Design and advise on integrations between GIS and OMS platforms. • Ensure accurate network model representation for outage analysis and restoration operations. • Support data synchronization, data mapping, and transformation processes between systems. • Develop and maintain interface specifications, data flows, and integration processes. • Troubleshoot and resolve integration and data consistency issues. • Support model alignment between GIS connectivity and OMS network models. • Identify integration risks and data gaps early in project lifecycles and recommend mitigation strategies. • Configure and support Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, Utility Network services, and related components. • Collaborate with OMS vendors and internal teams on data requirements and model alignment. • Support testing activities including system integration testing and user acceptance testing. • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements. • Work with utility engineering, operations, outage management, and IT teams to gather requirements. • Translate business and operational needs into GIS and OMS model designs. • Provide technical documentation and model standards. • Support production deployments and operational support activities. • Support presales, discovery, and early-stage solutioning efforts by articulating GIS and integration dependencies to internal and external stakeholders. • Communicate complex technical topics to project managers, directors and executive audiences.
