Role Description As an ASAP Implementation Specialist, the individual will coordinate, implement and support the Automated System Alarm Protocol (ASAP) interface to Emergency Call Centers (ECCs. - Implementation and support for ASAP service interfacing to ECCs. - Project management, including coordinating project schedules, milestones, and testing activities while actively managing deadlines to ensure timely delivery of ASAP implementation projects and keeping all internal and external tasks on time. - Collaborate with third-party implementation partners, such as Nlets, internal resources, CAD vendors, and ECCs (Public Safety Answering Points - PSAPs), and alarm monitoring centers to plan and execute the implementation and support of the ASAP solution. - Ability to review address/GIS data for varying data set comparisons and document inconsistencies. - Ensure that all implementations comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices. - Assure quality of project deliverables and client satisfaction. - Promote positive, long-term and meaningful client relations through quality deliverables and customer satisfaction. - Meet key performance goals and expectations as defined by management. - Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call support rotation, providing timely response to operational incidents, system issues, and customer escalations. - Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (preferred) or equivalent. - Experience implementing complex public safety projects and/or training (preferred). - Strong understanding of public safety communications, GIS Administration, ASAP protocol, and alarm monitoring solutions. - Project management experience or ability to ensure the quality of project deliverables. Deliver projects within budget guidelines. - Must pass CJIS and full employment background check. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on multiple projects. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Willingness to travel (Up to 10% of the time). Role Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Safety Consulting Intern to support our operations and consulting teams in improving project execution, research, and knowledge management related to public safety initiatives. This internship offers students pursuing degrees in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Public Administration, or related fields the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with professionals who support 911 centers, emergency communications, and public safety agencies across the country. Interns will gain valuable insight into how consulting projects support law enforcement agencies, emergency communications centers (911), and local governments in improving operations, technology, and community response programs. This role requires a professional committed to teamwork and success by embracing and living our core values of: - Persistence - Integrity - Trust - Accountability - Prudence LOCATION: Remote Responsibilities - Assist consulting and operations teams in improving project efficiency by supporting workflow organization and process improvements. - Capture and document key insights from internal meetings and discussions with public safety agencies. - Maintain and enhance the Project Manager Dashboard to help track consulting engagements. - Support organization of team folders and project documentation. - Assist in developing surveys and questionnaires to gather feedback from public safety stakeholders. - Conduct research on alternative response programs and innovative public safety initiatives. - Research emerging trends and technologies related to public safety communications. - Collaborate with consulting team members to develop communication materials and reports. - Provide administrative and logistical support to consulting teams. - Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Public Administration, Public Safety, or a related field. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strong research, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. - Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information related to public safety agencies. - Demonstrated professionalism and integrity. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); familiarity with Smartsheet or SharePoint is a plus. - Interest in public safety operations, emergency communications, government consulting, or emergency management. - Ability to collaborate with teams and communicate professionally across different stakeholders. - Access to reliable high-speed internet for remote collaboration and video meetings.
