Role Description This is a remote position. Key details: - Term: One-year fixed - Location: Remote working, open to applications worldwide - Reports to: Communications Manager - Professional experience: 5 years+ - Application deadline: 1 June 2026 Qualifications - Rooted in activist or ‘artivist’ spaces. - Deep understanding of contemporary conversations around masculinities. - Politically informed and committed to gender justice. - Practical experience connecting with men and boys. - Technical proficiency in high-impact communications. Requirements - A minimum of 5 years in communications within the non-profit or social justice sector. - Strong grasp of intersectional feminism and the ‘men and masculinities' field. - Passion for social media impact in the ‘men and masculinities’ space. - Sharp and creative eye for graphic design and visual content. - Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. - Skilled in graphic design (Canva/Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing. - Highly organized, independent, and proactive. - Adept with marketing tools such as e-marketing, CMS, and CRM systems. - Portfolio of videos produced, filmed, or edited is desirable. - Experience working with external creative professionals. Responsibilities - Coordinate and implement communications plans for reports, announcements, and events. - Ensure timely upload of new material at menengage.org. - Publish a global newsletter every 2 weeks. - Develop and post social media content across channels. - Coordinate the Global Communications Working Group. - Mobilize members, networks, and partners for joint campaigns. - Leverage digital storytelling and amplify innovative stories from the network.
