📍Midwest (Remote) or NYC (On-Site), Full-Time, Travel Required | $130,000–$165,000 + Equity + Benefits Company HQ: New York City About Meela The Mission: At Meela, we’re building phone-based AI tools for older adults and the people who care for them. Many older adults face loneliness as technology shifts away from familiar tools, while caregivers and senior living staff face growing burnout. Meela helps address both through simple, voice-based companionship for residents and practical support for care teams. The Momentum: Meela is backed by tier-one venture capital and is live in senior living communities across the U.S. Adoption is growing community by community, and demand is outpacing our ability to keep up. The focus now is scaling responsibly while improving the product in close partnership with the people who use it. The Team: Meela is a mission-driven team of passionate engineers, operators, and senior living veterans building real-world products for an underserved population. If this mission excites you and you enjoy fast-paced, high-ownership environments, we’d love to hear from you. The Role We’re looking for a Head of Implementation who will own the full lifecycle of a Meela community rollout — from the first launch through long-term adoption. This is a high-ownership, customer-facing role. You’ll work across every level of an organization: aligning with ownership groups and executive directors, supporting staff on the ground, and making sure residents are actually getting onboarded and using Meela. You’ll take ownership of an existing implementation system and make sure it works in practice. That means identifying where things are breaking down, pushing implementations forward, and ensuring every community gets to real usage — not just setup. Early on, you’ll be directly involved in implementations and close to the details. Over time, you’ll build the structure and team needed to scale this across more communities. Implementation & Execution - Own the full implementation lifecycle from contract signing through post-launch adoption - Ensure communities move from setup to residents being onboarded and actively using Meela - Track activation, utilization, and engagement, and act on what you find - Identify where implementations are getting stuck and move them forward System Improvement - Take ownership of existing processes, tools, and infrastructure - Improve consistency across communities - Refine rollout playbooks so they can scale Team Building - Build and manage the implementation team over time - Hire Implementation Managers as the function grows - Set expectations and improve performance What We’re Looking For - 5–10 years of experience in implementation, onboarding, customer success, or a similar role - Strong preference for senior living or healthcare experience - Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder rollouts across multiple sites - Strong communicator who can work across both executive and frontline teams - Highly organized and self-directed - Comfortable with travel - Customer success experience is a plus What Success Looks Like - Communities convert into active resident usage - Staff are engaged and driving adoption - Rollouts are consistent and repeatable across sites - Clear visibility into performance and outcomes - A strong implementation function is built and scaled over time What We Offer - Meaningful equity + market salary - Full health insurance, 401(k), and a daily lunch stipend - Ownership and autonomy from day one - Opportunity to build and lead a core function
