Role Description The Child & Adolescent MHPSS SME (Training Development) is a part-time consultancy position (50%) until December 2026, contributing to the development of a structured and operationally relevant learning offer aligned with MSF intersectional guidelines and priorities. - Design, review, and develop high‑quality and practical learning solutions for Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS). - Initially prioritize the development and adaptation of the MSF global digital learning platform (TEMBO) training package and related foundational learning materials. - Work in close collaboration with technical advisors and a pedagogical learning officer to strengthen field staff competencies. - Support scalable, operationally relevant implementation of Child & Adolescent MHPSS interventions across MSF contexts. Responsibilities and Main Tasks - Map and analyze existing internal and external Child & Adolescent MHPSS learning resources to identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities for integration. - Develop and structure modular training content aligned with MSF Child & Adolescent MHPSS guidelines and priority competencies in the MSF learning platform (Tembo). - Contribute to learning design by defining methodologies, case studies, practical exercises, and facilitator guidance. - Ensure content validation through coordination with technical advisors and key stakeholders. - Support quality assurance by applying MSF learning standards and principles across all developed materials. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with medical, MHPSS, and learning teams to ensure coherence and usability of learning solutions. - Contribute to evaluation approaches to support learning effectiveness and continuous improvement. Role’s Specific Elements - Strong focus on technical content development and applied learning design rather than strategic program development. - Development of practical, field-oriented, ready-to-use training materials. - Production of blended learning solutions, including self-paced online modules and face-to-face facilitation packages. - Emphasis on Training of Facilitators (ToF) approaches to support scalability and sustainability. - Adaptation of learning materials to diverse operational and cultural contexts. - Close collaboration with pedagogical and technical stakeholders to ensure applicability and learning quality. Qualifications - Degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, Mental Health, Social Work or a related field is required. - Specialization in Child & Adolescent Mental Health or MHPSS is required. - Proven experience in mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) in humanitarian or emergency contexts, ideally with children and adolescents. - Experience with Médecins Sans Frontières or similar humanitarian medical organizations is compulsory. - Experience developing and/or delivering training programs for adult learners, using participatory and competency-based learning approaches. - Strong understanding of humanitarian operational contexts, cross-cultural implementation challenges, and adult learning methodologies. - Familiarity with MSF MHPSS approaches, ethical frameworks, and field-based learning methodologies will be considered a strong asset. - Fluency in English (oral and written) is mandatory. French and/or Spanish will be considered an asset. Conditions - Position based in any MSF-OCBA hub or home-based. Final location will depend on the employability of the selected candidate (e.g. residency, work permit, etc.). - Part-time position. - Annual Gross Salary: level HQ-3B + secondary benefits based on MSF OCBA Reward Policy. MAIN PURPOSE Learn technical and functional aspects of AKIBA in to be the main point of knowledge for deployment. Travel sequentially to the missions and projects (Africa, Middle East, South America, Asia) deploying the tool and ensuring that it is adopted appropriately. Organize meetings with the field team in order to brief on the deployment plan and AKIBA relevance and define pre-requisites to be implemented before the deployment. Define and follow the action plan with the mission to ensure that the pre-requisites are in place before the deployment Perform the implementation in the missions and projects in collaboration with the MIO – Supply and MIO – IT. JOB OVERVIEW MSF OCBA has a wide Supply Chain portfolio, managing not only Medical but also Logistical products over various continent such as Europe, Africa, South America, Middle East, and Asia. Its Supply Chain consists of ordering – buying – storing – shipping in all the places where it operates. It can be divided into: Medical and Logistical as well as International and Local, where Medical products are mainly bought internationally in Europe (France) and Logistical products locally (local market). Apart from the Supply Chain processes functional requirements, AKIBA complies with the specific non-functional requirements linked to MSF OCBA operations: discontinued connectivity, satellite connection. With the ambition to implement a new integrated Supply Solution, MSF OCBA started the AKIBA Project in 2020 with the objective to identify, select, and develop the best suitable solution for the management of its supply chain. The implementation of AKIBA is planned over 6 years and will require a specialized team of between 10-13 staff with diverse competences in the fields of supply chain management, ERP implementation, E-Learning, Solution deployment and humanitarian operations. In 2025 we entered the deployment phase of AKIBA, in which AKIBA is deployed in OCBA’s missions. This last phase is expected to last around 2,5 years. RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS - Supervise the implementation, the completeness and the timeliness of the deployment visit and reporting. - Set up and configure Dynamics 365 F&O tailored to the specific needs of each missions. - Train mission teams on the basics of AKIBA applications and provide functional support to ensure smooth adoption and operation of the systems. - Train pharma teams on the advance functionalities of AKIBA applications and provide functional support to ensure smooth adoption and operation of the systems. - Monitor system usage and challenges during deployment, contribute to identifying and documenting missing functional guide steps, and provide detailed reports on progress and functional challenges. - Remotely support each missions and project until handover of the support to the AKIBA team at the end of deployment. - Collaborate with others involved Project and medical teams, Medical Stock Management referents, and central ERP support teams to ensure a coordinated and efficient rollout of AKIBA. - Serve as the primary point of contact for functional issues during deployment, providing immediate troubleshooting and resolution of challenges. - Document and report the implementations status. SELECTION CRITERIA - Relevant technical degree or diploma (e.g. Pharmacy, Supply Chain, or related field). - Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a pharmacist or in medical stock management. - Previous experience in the humanitarian sector, including MSF, is an asset. - Experience in leading, coaching, or working with teams in remote, insecure, or resource-constrained environments to achieve operational objectives. - Good understanding of ERP systems; experience with MS Dynamics Supply Chain Management module deployment is a strong advantage. - Experience in training and supporting diverse teams, ideally in multicultural or humanitarian environments, is a strong advantage. - Experience in providing application support to non-technical and geographically dispersed users is an asset. - Experience in writing user documentation is an asset. - Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Spanish is strongly desirable. French and/or Arabic are assets.
