Medecision

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices and React microfrontend (MF) components on GCP — following established service patterns, the Medecision MF architecture (runtime composition, atomic design), and a shared component library. • Build full-stack features end-to-end: RESTful APIs (service contracts, versioning, multi-tenant isolation) on the backend; TypeScript, Tailwind CSS on the frontend. • Implement event-driven workflows using Pub/Sub. • Own GitLab CI/CD pipelines end-to-end: build, lint, test, containerize (Docker), and deploy services and MF bundles to GCP; write JUnit 5/Mockito (backend) and Jest/React Testing Library (frontend) tests; author Storybook stories (story-first); use Datadog for backend and RUM observability. • Collaborate with on-shore and off-shore teams, architects, and tech leads to ensure on-time delivery and best engineering practices.

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Python and Java data services and pipelines deployed on Google Cloud Platform. • Build and evolve Google Cloud Dataflow batch and streaming pipelines for data ingestion, standardization, curation, and analytics load. • Implement and maintain event-driven data workflows using Google Cloud Pub/Sub. • Design and manage BigQuery datasets, table schemas, partitioning strategies, clustering, and reporting views. • Build and maintain Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow) DAGs for workflow orchestration. • Develop and maintain Cloud Run microservices and Cloud Functions. • Participate in design and code reviews; mentor junior engineers and contribute to shared coding standards. • Collaborate with teams to ensure on-time delivery and best engineering practices. • Engage proactively in the triage and resolution of escalated production issues. • Follow and comply with all security policies and procedures established by the organization, including adherence to HIPAA and HITRUST regulations.

• Oversee the end-to-end implementation of technology and business solutions • Bridge the gap between clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure project delivery • Manage the complete project lifecycle from planning and resource allocation through execution • Lead multiple concurrent projects ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives • Establish and enforce quality standards across all project phases and deliverables • Develop and execute organizational readiness strategies • Manage stakeholder expectations and lead change management initiatives • Conduct data validation and system compliance checks • Manage project budgets, track resource utilization, and optimize costs

• Build and maintain automated API test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and negative-path scenarios. • Validate FHIR-based APIs, payload conformance, mapping accuracy, and interoperability workflows. • Develop test coverage for MCP-related wrappers and AI-facing service contracts to ensure predictable and secure behavior. • Execute performance, reliability, and edge-case testing across backend services. • Partner with engineering teams to improve testability, defect prevention, and release quality. • Manage test environments, test data strategies, and quality reporting.

• Design, build, and maintain GCP infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and runtime environments for backend services and APIs. • Own and manage CI/CD processes, environment promotion, secrets management, infrastructure automation, and release reliability. • Implement comprehensive observability solutions including logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and operational dashboards. • Support scalable hosting architectures for APIs, FHIR services, and MCP-enabled components using GCP-native services. • Manage IAM, network controls, security policies, and platform guardrails in collaboration with engineering leadership. • Drive improvements in reliability, deployment speed, recovery readiness, and production support practices.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain API endpoints and backend services. • Implement business workflows, validations, and integrations across internal systems and partner APIs. • Assist with FHIR API development and resource mapping under the guidance of senior engineers. • Help package approved services for AI consumption by creating well-structured service interfaces and applying MCP-related patterns. • Write unit tests, integration tests, and maintain clear developer documentation. • Participate in design discussions, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.

• Build and maintain API endpoints, service enhancements, and bug fixes. • Support data transformation, validation, and integration tasks across backend services. • Assist with FHIR-related development, including payload handling, resource mappings, and testing. • Contribute to the development of reusable service interfaces that enable downstream AI and automation use cases. • Write unit tests, documentation, and operational runbooks as needed. • Collaborate closely with senior engineers to learn platform patterns, coding standards, and domain-specific requirements.

• Design, build, and maintain core APIs and backend services that drive platform workflows and facilitate external integrations. • Develop and support FHIR-based integrations, including resource transformation, validation, and workflow orchestration. • Implement business logic, service-layer rules, and integration patterns for internal and partner-facing APIs. • Assist in exposing select services through MCP-compatible wrappers to enable AI and automation use cases. • Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead on architecture, design decisions, performance optimization, and production support. • Write clean, maintainable code, automated tests, and comprehensive technical documentation.

• Lead and motivate project teams across multiple workstreams and business entities, ensuring high levels of performance. • Provide project team members with the direction and support needed to achieve their goals. • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals. • Outline the resources required for each project, including time, money, equipment, and people. • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. • Direct project execution as outlined in the project plan, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved. • Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services. • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. • Report and escalate to management as needed.
