• Lead the technical design, development, and delivery of complex features and projects, ensuring high quality and scalability. • Define and contribute to technical roadmaps in collaboration with engineering managers and product leaders. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while raising the bar for code reviews, testing, and overall engineering practices. • Mentor and support other developers through coaching, knowledge sharing, pairing and delegating where appropriate. • Contribute to architectural discussions and make pragmatic choices that balance technical needs with business priorities. • Collaborate closely with the product manager, designer, and data analyst, on your team to ensure solutions align with user and business needs. • Proactively identify and address technical debt, risks, and opportunities for platform improvement. • Implement and refine best practices within the engineering team. • Support system reliability by troubleshooting, debugging, and improving monitoring and observability practices.
• Design intuitive, high-value experiences for creators and fans from discovery through production-ready execution • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate and validate ideas • Identify usability issues proactively and develop practical, user-centred solutions • Translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive, and conversion-driven experiences • Conduct user research and testing to validate assumptions and inform design decisions • Design polished, visually compelling interfaces across web experiences • Make strong, intentional decisions around layout, typography, hierarchy, colour, and motion • Contribute to and maintain a cohesive design system across platform surfaces • Ensure UI quality is competitive with best-in-class e-commerce storefronts • Own storefront projects end-to-end, from concept and design through implementation and optimization • Customize Shopify themes and work directly within Shopify to execute medium-complexity storefront builds independently • Design solutions that are technically feasible and aligned with Shopify platform capabilities • Optimize storefront experiences for conversion, storytelling, usability, and visual impact • Continuously benchmark against leading e-commerce and creator-focused brands to elevate design quality • Partner with engineering, product, growth, and leadership teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently • Facilitate brainstorming, ideation, and problem-solving sessions with relevant stakeholders • Communicate design rationale effectively and build alignment across teams • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, collaboration, and execution speed • Champion accessibility, usability, and customer-centric design principles • Stay informed on emerging design, e-commerce, and Shopify trends • Establish and maintain a high standard of design quality across all work • Support additional creative, marketing, and brand initiatives as needed • Additional Interest and ability to pivot into adjacent design work on a regular basis - sales collateral, social media assets, ads. Sales Manager – Account Executive

• Develop and execute the sales go-to-market strategy aligned with Makeship's growth objectives. • Identify priority creator segments, verticals, and partnership opportunities to drive new business growth. • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified creator opportunities. • Continuously evaluate sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity to improve results. • Recommend improvements to sales processes, outreach strategies, and pipeline management practices. • Maintain an individual sales quota and consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets. • Prospect, negotiate, and close new creator/brand partnerships. • Build relationships with creators, talent agencies, creator management firms, MCNs, and industry stakeholders. • Develop strategic partnerships that increase creator acquisition and long-term revenue growth. • Manage key opportunities from initial outreach through signed agreement and campaign launch. • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and repeat business opportunities where applicable. • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and creator-focused networking opportunities. • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives. • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews. • Support career development, succession planning, and professional growth for team members. • Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and accountability measures. • Provide ongoing sales training on prospecting, negotiation, relationship management, and closing techniques. • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and ramping new Account Executives. • Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, sales activity, and forecast accuracy. • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and opportunity assessments with team members. • Ensure accurate forecasting and timely reporting of sales performance.
