This description is a summary of our understanding of the job description. Click on 'Apply' button to find out more. Role Description This isn’t a “make it pretty” position. You’ll own the full design function at Lynton, from UX strategy and research-informed interface design to scalable design systems and AI-augmented creative production. You’ll be the person who bridges the gap between what our clients need and what modern tooling makes possible. You’ll work across client engagements and internal projects, shaping how Lynton shows up visually and how we deliver design as a service. You’ll have a direct line to leadership and real influence over the direction of the agency. What You’ll Own - UX & Interface Design - Lead end-to-end UX design for client websites, landing pages, and HubSpot portals, from discovery and wireframing through high-fidelity prototypes and developer handoff. - Conduct lightweight UX research (heuristic reviews, user flows, competitive audits) to ground design decisions in evidence, not assumptions. - Design responsive, accessible interfaces that perform across devices and meet WCAG standards. - Design Systems & Component Architecture - Build and maintain a scalable design system in Figma - tokens, components, variants, auto-layout - that maps cleanly to front-end code. - Establish Figma-to-code workflows that reduce handoff friction and enable developers to implement designs with precision. - Create reusable design patterns that accelerate delivery across client projects. - AI-Driven Design Workflows - Integrate AI tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Runway, Adobe Firefly, and emerging platforms) into the creative process for ideation, asset generation, and production acceleration. - Develop repeatable AI-assisted workflows for tasks like image generation, layout exploration, copy-to-visual prototyping, and batch asset creation. - Stay current on the rapidly evolving AI design landscape and bring new tools and techniques to the team proactively. - Visual Brand & Creative Direction - Own the visual brand identity and ensure consistency across all touchpoints - website, social, collateral, presentations, and campaigns. - Produce social media graphics, marketing assets, and campaign visuals that elevate the brand beyond standard agency fare. - Provide creative direction and visual QA across client deliverables. Qualifications - 5+ years of professional design experience with a strong portfolio showing UX process, visual design range, and systems thinking. - Expert-level Figma proficiency—you think in components, auto-layout, variables, and design tokens. - Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end concepts. You don’t need to ship production code, but you should understand how your designs translate to it. - Hands-on experience with AI design tools and a genuine enthusiasm for integrating them into professional workflows. - Experience designing within CMS platforms and full-stack web frameworks (HubSpot, WordPress, Webflow, React, or similar accepted). - Strong eye for typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy. - Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple client projects simultaneously, and communicate design rationale clearly to non-designers. Bonus Points - Familiarity with design-to-code tools (Anima, Locofy, Builder.io) or code-to-design reverse workflows. - Motion design skills (After Effects, Lottie, Rive, or CSS animation). - Comfort working in or adjacent to a development environment (GitHub, VS Code, basic CLI). - Background in agency environments with multi-client workloads.
