Client & Stakeholder Engagement: - Represent the estimating team in client meetings, pre-bid conferences, and negotiations. - Communicate clearly with operations, procurement, and project management teams during pre-construction. Process Management: - Develop and enforce estimating procedures, including pre-estimate checklists and opportunity matrices. - Oversee bid review meetings and ensure timely submission of RFIs and proposals. - Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company standards. Strategic Contributions: - Provide pragmatic analysis of project execution to optimize efficiency and profitability. - Generate high-level cash flow projections, risk analysis reports, and resource-loaded schedules. - Support business development with conceptual estimates and ROM pricing for new opportunities. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations. Minimum Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in industrial construction estimating, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. - Ability to read Interpret P&ID, Isometric drawings and other technical schematics. - Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written. - Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite emphasis on Project Schedule and Excel Tracking. Preferred: - Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related discipline - Estimating experience with HCSS HeavyBid - Direct Involvement In civil, concrete, structural steel, equipment setting, and mechanical construction. - Scheduling experience with MSP or P6. - Proven ability to manage multiple complex bids simultaneously.
