Role Description We are a small team with big ambitions for the future! We’re looking for a subject specialist to lead our Core Skills team. Core Skills includes the following subjects: Digital, Employability, English, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Maths. In the role you will be responsible for: - Organising a programme of learning which supports local community needs - Positively contributing toward inclusion and social mobility You will be a passionate professional with a demonstrable track record of: - Improving outcomes for learners - Positively impacting on the quality of Teaching, Learning and Assessment within a collaborative environment Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years’ experience of teaching, learning or assessment in at least one of the subject areas - Relevant teaching or assessing qualifications Requirements - Completion of an Enhanced DBS check Benefits - Permanent - full-time, 52 weeks per year - Salary: Support Staff Spine Point 33 - 35 (£35,394 - £37,732 FTE) Company Description Closing date: Sunday 31st May 2026 Shortlisting date: Monday 1st June 2026 Interview date: Tuesday 9th June 2026
